Chapter Two

Madeleine's POV
I knew this was coming I was about to have a panic attack but I was alone, what am I supposed to do, I had the small realization about something Carrie said to me last night, I tried saying her name to get her attention but soon realized that I couldn't breathe. Carrie and Mike were downstairs. Carrie said "I'm gonna go check on Maddie" Mike said "Alright" I was still in Carrie and Mike's room about to cry. A few minutes go by and Carrie walks in, she saw me and said "Honey? Hey what's going on" I tried to get the words out but couldn't breathe she said "Okay, okay, look at me sweetheart take nice slow deep breaths, see sweetheart you're okay" she hugged me. I want to ask her a question but I was nervous about her answer, "Carrie?" "Yeah sweetie?" "Are you and Mike going to send me back, I really don't want want to go back" " No honey absolutely not" she put her hand on my back " Try to calm down love" I gave her a hug

Carrie's POV
I think Maddie is feeling more comfortable with Mike and I, I'm proud to call this girl my daughter she hugged me so I hugged her back

Madeleine's POV
After a few minutes I looked at Carrie and said "I love you mom" she smiled and said "did you just call me mom baby?" "I'm sorry I can just call you Carrie"  she said "no it's okay sweetie, and you can call me whatever you're comfortable with"  I said "So I can call you mom?" She said "You absolutely can hon" I said "Okay mama"

Carrie's POV
I can't believe she called me mama! Now I have Isaiah, Jacob and Madeleine in my life and I couldn't be more blessed and of course Mike. "Maddie, I have a concert coming up, is it okay if I introduce you as Mike and I's daughter" she looked at me and said "Yeah sure!"
