Grandma brushes my hair as I eat breakfast wearing jeans, a batman shirt and converses. I finish eating an Grandma drove me to my new school, I walk inside an to the front office to get my schedule, I walk to first period and knock on the door "you must be Miss Daniels, please come in" An overly perky lady says letting me inside the classroom.

"Everyone meet our new student, Clarke Daniels, Clarke take a seat please" She says sternly an I sat down next to a blonde haired girl "hi I'm Mia" She says smiling an I shake her hand "I'm Clarke" I said smiling back at her before I open my book an copy the work from the board as Mia talks about something I wasn't paying attention too.

Second period was boring, Mia was in my class again an I met her friends Allison, Cherri, Abby, Elina and I met two guys Jackson & Dean who are really nice but goofy. It's Lunch now an I'm sitting with them because I don't have any other friends and they all seem nice except Cherri she's kinda snarky, I saw some older guys watching us "Mia, Derek and his friends are walking over" Allison giggles as the guys walk over.

"Hey sis, who's your new friend?" One asks smirking "Clarke, Clarke meet my brother Derek and his friends Tyler, Greg and Curtis" Mia says perkily "hey" Derek says smiling at me, I noticed Allison glared at me "hi" I said smiling back "two year age difference" Mia says glaring at her brother who smirks at her, I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and pulled it out.

I shove my phone in my pocket "hey Clarke, wanna stay over tonight?" Mia asks perkily, I noticed Derek and his friends were gone "um sure" I said half smiling "cool" She says smiling just as the bell rings "what do you have, Clarke?" Elina asks as we all stood up "legal studies" I said softly "same, lets go" She squeals an I was dragged away towards class.

Class was boring for the rest of the day, Mia said she'll pick me up at 4pm so after school I walk through the parking lot an saw Mia with Derek an his friends standing near a black Jeep "hey Clarke!, come here" Mia calls out an I couldn't just walk off, I walk over "hey" I said smiling "who's picking you up?" She asks looking around "I'm walking home" I said shrugging.

"Your parents let you walk home" She asks raising an eyebrow "I'm 15, I can take care of myself and I don't live with my parents anyway" I said rolling my eyes "who do you live with?" She asks curiously, I noticed Derek an his friends were listening as well "my Grandma" I said getting sick of all these questions "why don't you live with your parents?" She asks raising an eyebrow.

"What is this?, 21 questions?, look I gotta go" I said amused an left leaving her even more curious, I only tell people I trust about my parents so no one knows besides my Grandma cause everyone I've met are backstabbing pricks but Mia is different, she might actually be a good friend, she may be overly perky but she's ok, I felt like we were already friends before I even met her like I've known her before.

I think I'm going crazy, I stop at the grocery store an got milk before I walk home, I walk inside an to the kitchen, I put the milk in the fridge before going to my room an dropping my bag near the desk, I packed a bag for Mia's an went down stairs, I place my bag on the ground an sat on the couch, its only 3pm so I turn the t.v on and watch cartoons.

The hour went by quickly an I hear a knock on the door, I turn the t.v off an grab my bag, I walk to the door an open it to see Mia smiling "you ready to go?" She asks "yeah just one sec" I said an ran off, I went to Grandmas room an said bye to her before leaving with Mia an Derek who's driving, I wasn't surprised when I saw him waiting impatiently in the car.
