I Can't Swim

Clarke Pov

I sat on the sand as the others went swimming, Mia was only allowed to come to the beach if Derek came so he got his friends to come because he didn't want to be bored shitless. I was in a bikini but I refused to go into the water, I held in a growl when I see Carly and some other girls in small bikini's, they sat away from me an I could smell perfume, alot of it.

Derek saw them an walks out of the water with one of his friends, they walk to the girls and Carly whispers something to him an he walks over to me with the other guy "sorry Clarke" He says an I was lifted up by my arms an legs "hey put me down" I said trying to get out of their grip as Carly an her friends laugh, they walk towards the water.

"Guys let her go" Mia yells angrily as I start hyperventilating as they walk into the water "put me down, please don't, I can't swim" I said freaking out as I kick at them but they had a firm grip, I was suddenly thrown into the water, I sink like a rock feeling my lungs already ache, I scream accidentally letting the water run into my mouth starting to fill my lungs as I try to swim but I couldn't an soon there was only darkness....

Mia Pov

Everyone stared as Clarke stayed underwater, I dive under to see her floating unconsciously, I grab her arm pulling her up "someone help" I yell struggling to keep Clarke up, Allison swam over an quickly grabbed Clarke's other arm, we drag her out of the water an onto the sand "she's not breathing" I sob as Derek runs over with everyone else.

"I thought she was only joking" He says with wide eyes "you asshole, help her" I said angrily, he falls to his knees and I watch as he does mouth to mouth, Allison better not go drown herself for Derek to do that to her. Clarke coughs up water as Derek leaned back looking relieved as I help her sit up "its ok, your ok now" I said hugging her tightly as she started shaking looking like she'd seen a ghost.

"Shouldn't we call her parents?" Allison asks raising an eyebrow as I help Clarke stand up but she needed my help to stand straight "no, I'm fine" Clarke says coughing an she looked sickly pale "are you sure?" I ask frowning "yeah, but maybe I should sit down" She says dizzily before falling back bringing me with her as we fall on our asses.

"I'm so sorry, Clarke, I thought you were just joking about not being able to swim" Derek says regretfully "get away from me, you asshole" Clarke spits viciously at him, he frowns but walks away, everyone soon went back to having fun as I stayed with Clarke "he saved your life, at least think about forgiving him after you slap him though" I said with a small smile.

"I don't want to hit him or forgive him, not quite yet" She says smirking evilly "evil suits you" I said amused "I know" She says happily making me laugh.
