Thinking about them

I reached my bedroom, closing the door behind me. I went through my closet and found a beautiful glass vase, perfect for the rose. I went to my bathroom and filled it up with water, then carefully placed the rose inside.
I placed the vase on my nightstand, and sat down on my bed admiring it. It was such a beautiful rose, beautiful just like Mizuki.

What am I thinking?!

Sure Mizuki is beautiful! I don't have a crush on them or anything, we just met! There's nothing romantic about appreciating someone's beauty right? Yeah!

I barely know them even! They seem like a sweet person but theres no way I could possibly be in love with them.

Never in a million years.

Sure they have beautifully soft pink hair, long luscious lashes, those delicate hands, their angelic appearance..I MEAN I'M JUST APPRECIATING HOW AWESOME THEY ARE!

Theres nothing wrong with that..RIGHT?!

Suddenly I heard a knock on my door. I got up to open it.
It was Shizuku!

"Hi Shizuku!"
"An, I must inform you of something."
"Huh? What is it?"
"You're getting married."

I felt my heart sink, GETTING MARRIED?! I don't want to get married! Not to someone I don't know.

"To who?!"
"I'm not sure. Your father is worried that you haven't found yourself someone yet."
"Then why would you say I'm marrying?"
"Your father will be hosting a ball in a few weeks, and insists at that ball you will find someone."
"Ugh! I don't want to!"
"You have no choice An."

I was about to burst in to tears, but I held them back. This was the worst.
I'm only 16! Why should I have to marry?!
My parents are fine in health, there would be nothing to do with me becoming a queen.
I guess my parents are just worried. I've been single all my life, waiting for prince charming to someday walk through that door, but honestly I don't find interest in anybody that way.

Will Mizuki be at the ball? I wonder what they'll wear! Oh wait, they'll be in their knight uniform. Nonetheless they look amazing in it, so heroic!

Maybe Mizuki would marry me..

STOP IT BRAIN STOP IT!

"An are you alright?"
"YEP JUST THINKING ABOUT THE BALL!"
"Oh alright. I'll be in the kitchen if you need something."

Shizuku headed off.

"SHIZUKU! YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!"

Shizuku immediately turned around and ran the other way. She was very bad when it came to directions.
