Ik I said I would be writing on the weekends but I've been on a writing spree 🤭🫶🏻🫶🏻

Bruce's POV

Time skip: After School , baseball practice

(I don't watch or really know much ab sports so. Don't expect this to be good 🤭)

I walk into the locker room and set my stuff down on one of the benches. I change into my baseball uniform. I grab my bay from my bag and stuff into my locker. I walk out of the locker room and into the field " Bruce Yamada!" My coach walks over to me and pats me on the back " Your gonna practice with the other team today so go ahead and greet the pitcher which was finney.  Finney is a year younger than belle so his in a different team then me. Same school though we practice with each age group that's in are school "Finney! You ready to play?" I pat hit shoulder "Yeah! Let's do this"

I walk back over to we're I have to stand finney raises the hand the balls in and throws it my way " Strike One!" I hear my coach yell  I missed?. Finney gets the ball and gets ready to throw it again. This time I hit it it flys into the left field and a drop my bat and run to first base and then to second base by the time I get there finney has the ball again and it's my teammates turn.

Vance's POV

I get back to my house after school I unlock the door and head back into my bedroom I take my shoes off and put sweats on my heater doesn't work so it s pretty cold in my house. I put my slides on that are next to the door and walk out this time I don't lock the door I walk around for a while before stopping at the park for a cigarette. 

I finish my cigarette and put it out on the floor and start walking back to my house when I get closer to my house I can see the front door wide open i kinda run over to my house and peck inside I see my dad.. he's looking through the fridge " what the fuck are you doing here" I say loudly "it's my goddamn house boy." He says as he slams the fridge door.

!!Warning Abuse,scream and, Gore/blood!!

"No it's not. Me and mom pay for everything in this shit whole!" I yell at him "don't yell at me! It's time you start learning your lesson.!" He screams back as he takes his belt off. And walks over to me " don't fucking touch me!" I yell at his but he throws a punch at my stomach. He kneels down to me on the ground and punches me in the cheek I cough up blood. "Don't fucking yell at me! This is what you deserve you little shit!" He stands up and hits me with his belt. He keeps hitting me. My vision goes blurry and eventually I black out. When I walk up I can here my mama screaming something with her hand on my cheek "What did you do you fucking monster!" I can hear her scream.

Vance's moms POV (Erin)

I hope Vance is home! I made sure to pick up groceries today! I can here noise but I don't make to much of it I open the door which if Vance wasn't her is would've been lock I look up from the door to see Vance on the floor. He's arm is are read and bloody and his face looks even worse. He doesn't look alive..I drop my groceries" George! Get of my baby!" I scream as I push his father off him

I pull him into my arms he looks even worse up close " what  did you do you monster!" I scream at this point I'm crying. I grab the phone that was on the floor. It's Vance's i unlock it and dial 9-1-1 "9-1-1 Wha is your emergency?"  The woman on the line says "help! My hu- ex husband he... he I think my son is dead!" I scream. Sobbing as I tell her everything. My address, my name, his name and before I know it there here police take George in handcuffs and my Vance in the ambulance I'm riding with them. I pull Vance's hand into mine. And hold it the whole ride there.

Vance's POV

I wake up to the sound of people talking and beeping? "He's awake!" I hear one of them yell "hello sweetie.. how are you feeling?" I here someone say "I- were I'm I?!"  I try to sit up my the pain in my back pushes me back onto the bed "I look around a little and see nurses and doctors? "Hello? Can you here me? Vance your names Vance right?" The lady next to me says "Wha- yes I'm Vance.." i mumble "your in the hospital sweetie do you want me to go get your mother?" I nodd.  She sits up and leaves the room. A couple seconds later my mom rushes into the room "oh..my poor baby.." she says in a upset  voice she hugs me softly. Before sitting down it the chair next to me two officers walk into my room "hello. Your Vance, Vance hopper yes?" One of them say "yeah that's me" I say "do you remember what happened?! Before you blacked out??" The other officer asks "my dad. He was in the house. I- he just got mad I guess. Started hitting me and I guess I blacked out" I admit "is that all you remember was he intoxicated?" He asks me " probably I mean it smelt like it." I look away from them and over to my mom. "Ok. Once your un hospitalized we will talk to you again" they nod before walking out of the room. "The Docter that was stood by the sink stood up and walked forward "Vance should stay in the house for a while while his stitches healed" the Docter informs me and my mom " stitches?" I ask "yes. It looked like the belt buckle sliced you up a lot you'll have to take a closer look when you can" he nods " and when will he be released " my mom asks " you have filled out the paper work yes?" He asks and she nods "then soon. I will ask the nurse to help you out " he smiles before leaving the room

Time skip: at Vance's house

Vance's POV

I grab my phone out of my belongingness bag and sit down on m6 bed I text Robin

Robin👍

Vance: Hey robin. I'm probably not gonna be in school for the next couple weeks 😪

Robin: what? Why are you ok?!

Vance : no not really. My dad beat the shit out of me.. 😕💀

Robin: well shit. I'm with finney and Bruce right now but I would come see you man.

Vance: your with Bruce?

Robin: yeahhh?

Vance: just come over with all of them. Their all my friends:))

Robin: Ok I'll be there in five

Vance: 👍
