I'm still waiting
In the raging storms of our time
For that single sign
That sign so promised in my dreams
And so in the piercing darkness
I waitStabbed by fear,I hold my bleeding soul
Waiting
From the angry Niger to the sad Euphrates
From my obscure cave to the giant Everest
My patience out measures allSitting by the still waters of the beginning
Lost in the legend of time
I wonder if all these is but a fantasy
An obscure dream by a lost poet
In the midst of the storm I take a glimpse
All hazy and dark
In the midst of it
Life stands
Wagging it's dirty fingers at me
An opera playing sweet ditties
Of happiness in silence
And love screams while she burns on a stakeIs life all but a truthful lie?
Yet I'm still waiting.
