THIRD PERSON

avery and jaden were both nervous to see
eachother considering the fact neither of them have
seen or talked to eachother since
their big argument, it was gonna be weird
and awkward.

even nessa was nervous, she hadnt
talked to jaden since she found out about their argument,
she will always take averys side, theyve been bestfriends
since childhood, they were bestfriends so it
wasnt weird for nessa to take averys side.

when they finally saw jaden, avery wanted to
hug him, kiss him, and tell him she missed him but
she didnt do any of that.

"hey" avery said awkwardly
"ill open the trunk for you guys" jaden said while
going to the driver said to unlock the trunk
"want me to put your bags in the trunk?"
avery asked nessa
"um sure, thanks" nessa smiled at her
"no problem" avery said back
she made her way to the trunk while holding
her and nessas bags, jaden picked up the suitcases
and put them in the trunk
"oh thank you" avery said giving jaden a
slight smile

"so nessa we'll drop you off and then
ill come to yours after, okay?" avery said
while getting in the front seat
"uh yeah okay" nessa replied looking up from her
phone.

their was an awkward silence, none of them knew
what to say, although nessa and avery
werent fighting it was still awkward.
nessa was pissed at jaden, avery didnt know
how she felt about jaden.

they had just dropped off nessa and now theyre
making their way to jadens apartment. it was still
awkwardly silent.
avery was looking out the window and jaden
was focused on the road. he wanted to
say something but he couldnt, he didnt
know how or what to say.

when they got to jadens apartment avery sat on
the couch. jaden sat beside her but left a gap
between them.

"so, jaden i just need the truth, we wont
yell, or fight, or anything like that, i just need the truth"
avery said while fiddling with her thumbs.
"yeah of course, i wasnt at travis's, i did lie about that"
jaden confessed looking at her.
"where were you?" avery said feeling tears
forming in her eyes.
"i was at a hotel, i wasnt sober"
jaden said looking down.
"oh, you couldve just told me that, yknow
i wouldnt have judged you" avery said while
looking at him.
"i know you wouldnt have, i just didnt need you
seeing me like that, i didnt want to drag
you into my shit" jaden said
"well im glad i know that truth now" avery
said while going to hug him

"dont lie to me again please?" avery said
while letting go of him
"i wont, i promise" jaden told her

avery went in to kiss him but he pulled back
"what was that?" avery asked looking at
him confused
"nothing, just caught off guard" jaden said
smiling and going in to kiss her

she missed them, she was glad she knew
the truth now.

what jaden told her wasnt the
full truth, there was people he didn't mention
that were there with him.

"well im gonna go now, i told ness that i'd go
to her place after" the brunette told jaden
"yeah, okay, i love you" jaden told her
"i love you too" avery said while getting off the couch

avery grabbed her bags and suitcase and ordered
an uber to nessas house.
