he knows he said he has real feelings for athena, but he realized hes using her as a rebound. he still loves and will always love avery. no matter how far apart they are, if they arent together he will always love avery. he needs avery, he hates himself more and more everyday for fucking up the way he did. he wants her to be his again, he wants to be able to call her his, he wants to hug and kiss her again, he wants to hold her in his arms. he just wants and needs her.
he knows what he has to do to get avery back. he has to break up with athena. he may hurt her but he didnt really care, he only cared about avery, no one else in the world mattered but her. he fucking loves her.

athena was over. they had been sitting in silence for about 5 minutes. he didnt know what to say, he didnt want to hurt her but he also didnt want to be with her anymore. he just needed to get those stupid fucking words out of his mouth. its just 3 words, how fucking hard can it be?
"okay, i know ive just been sitting here but its important and i dont know how to say it" jaden explained. "i already know what it is, you dont have to say it" athena said in a sad tone. "you do?" he said sorta confused. "yeah i do, youre breaking up with me right?" she said looking down, she couldnt bring herself to look at him. "yeah... im sorry its just-" athena had cut him off. "you still love avery" she said. "yeah... i do, im sorry, i shouldnt have led you on like this, it was fucked up of me" jaden tried to explain. "no jaden, its okay, at the end of the day i was also apart of the situation, its not all on you and i knew youd go back to avery at some point, you love her way more than you love me and i know that" she explained while holding back her tears. "im sorry athena" thats all jaden could get out. "its okay, im uh im gonna go now" athena said standing up and she started walking towards the door. "um alright" he got up and followed her.
she walked out the door and he immediately took out his phone and messaged the one person he had on his mind.
