part 1

"Rishi....hum jab budhe ho jaaenge na...tab hum humari sapno ki ek duniya mein jaaenge. Matlab ek aisa ghar....jaha par sirf khushiyaan ho...waha ke har dewar par tumhari aur meri tasveer lagi hogi........waha par sirf pyaar aur shaanti hogi....na koi humare beech aayega....aur main chaen se marr bhi paaungi...tumhari god mein."
"Meri aakhri iccha yahi hogi....ki main tumhari god mein marna chahti hoon....mere chehre par ek muskaan ho aur mere aakhri pal mein bhi bas tumhe hi dekhti rahun."
"Main har janam mein tumhare saath hi rehna chahti hoon Rishi....hamesha. Marne ke baad bhi main sirf tumse pyaar karungi Rishi. Tum mera sab ho."
"Ek hi iccha thi meri.....ki tumhare saath apni poori zindagi bitaungi....lekin tumne toh meri parwah hi nahi ki. Tum toh kisi aur se pyaar karte ho Rishi."
"I will never disturb you Rishi.....never ever in life."

These words are ringing in my ears since 10 years. I don't know what date it is today.....but tomorrow.......I am going to get free from jail. Yes jail.....I was blamed for murdering my own wife...whom I love immensely. Want to know my story? Don't....because it is the story of a traitor....I am a traitor. I used a girl, played with her feelings and then deserted her. She cried for me...even I did but when I realised that I love her....she deserted me forever. I know that she didn't wanted to....I forced her and then that happened which no one expected. She attempted suicide.......I know why...but the reason was not proved in the court. I have many suspects but there were no proofs to prove the crime.

You all might be thinking that if Lakshmi attempted suicide......then why am I in jail right? It's because according to the doctor of law I forced Lakshmi to attempt suicide.
Well.....I can never do that but no one will believe that I know. 
     
        One thing I am also not going to believe.......Lakshmi attempted suicide. She cannot attempt suicide.....it is a murder. Yes....it's a pre planned murder. Someone killed Lalshmi for selfish reasons.

The worst thing is not that I went to jail....the worst thing is that an innocent soul got killed and her murderer or murderers didn't got arrested or punished.

           While doing the last rites of Lakshmi.....I vowed touching her lifeless body....that I will find out her murderers and punish them. I will not spare any one....even if it is from my family....I am going to get the individual arrested. 

The Next Day,
Rishi was given bail from the jail.
Rishi came out and saw his whole family standing there except Ayush for his welcome.
Rishi went to Neelam and hugged her. Neelam got teary eyed seeing Rishi.
After the emotional reunion....Rishi was brought back home.
Rishi: Mom....Ayush kaha hain?
Neelam sighed.
Neelam: Vo humare saath nahi rehta hain.
Rishi: Kya matlab? Aur kyun?
Neelam: Vo tum ussi se jaa kar pooch lo. Yeh lo uske ghar ka address.
Neelam gave Rishi Ayush's home's address.
Rishi left.
Scene shifts to a house 🏠.
Rishi rang the door bell.
A woman in her late 30's opened the door.
The woman: Jii kahiye.........
Rishi: Vo...Ayush se milna tha.
The woman: Andar aaiye.
The woman closed the door as soon as Rishi came inside.

Rishi's POV

        I wonder why Ayush came here to live alone. Wait....alone? I don't think so...I think someone else is also living here with him. I don't know who it is but I believe that Ayush is not living any wrong person as he has the better taste in understanding people than me.

I think someone is coming from the other room. It is Ayush I know.
Rishi's POV ends.

Ayush came out. He knew that Rishi would come to meet him surely and the first thing that would strike in his mind is that why I didn't went to there to welcome him back. Well....he had someone due to whom he couldn't go.

Ayush hugged Rishi. Rishi also hugged him tightly.

Ayush: How are you Rishi bhai?
Rishi: Theek hoon. Tu yaha kyun reh raha hain?
Ayush sighed a long sigh and then spoke.
Ayush: Aap baitho....main batata hoon.
Rishi sat down on the couch besides Ayush.
Ayush: Aaj se 10 saal pehle jab Lakshmi bhabi chali gayi....tab har jagah bas udaasi chaa gayi thi. Humare ghar mein toh dadi, Ahana, mama aur Devika ko chod kar kisi ko koi fark nahi para isse....lekin mujhe chinta thi Shalu Bani ki.
 

                 Uske agle din main gaya tha chachi ke ghar Shalu Bani ko dekhne. Shalu Bani bilkul toot chuki thi Rishi bhai.....aur chachi unhe taane maar rahi thi uss halat mein bhi. Lekin vo dono jawab dene ke halat mein thi nahi. Mujhe darr tha ki kahi vo dono depression mein na chali jaae aur issi liye maine unn dono ki zimmedari uthane ki sochi. Main Shalu aur Bani ko unn logon se...uss jagah se bohot durr le aaya. Lekin yaha par aane ke baad jab logon ne Shalu,Bani aur mere rishte par sawaal uthaya.....tab mama ke kehne par maine Shalu se shaadi kar li. Ghar mein kisi ne nahi maani meri aur Shalu ki shaadi ko...and I also didn't forced them.

Wakt beet gaya.......aur dekhte hi dekhte 10 saal ho gaye.....Bani college jaati hain isiliye vo apne friends ke saath khush rehti hain lekin Shalu..........

Shalu bilkul badal gayi hain. Vo chatar patar kartne waali Shalu ab baat hi nahi karti hain. She just answers me....aur sometimes she speaks. She never complains.....even if some neighbour taunts her about something she doesn't answer them. She just stays quiet.

Rishi: Toh tu kuch karta nahi hain?
Ayush: Kiya tha Rishi bhai....lekin koi faida nahi hua. I tried to cheer her up....I took her to many places,even whenever I get time I take her to various places but Shalu aaj bhi waisi hi hain....jaisi vo 10 saal pehle Lakshmi bhabi ke maut ke wakt thi. Mujhe toh abhi bhi lagta hain ki Lakshmi bhabi ne suicide nahi kiya tha....it was a murder.

Rishi: You are right. It was a pre planned murder. Maar dala kisi ne Lakshmi ko. Main use dhoond nikalunga...aisi maine kasam khaayi hain Ayush. Kya tu meri maddat karega?

Ayush: Yeh bhi koi poochne ki baat hain? I will surely help you Rishi bhai. Main bhi chahta hoon ki Lakshmi bhabi ke qaatil ko sazaa mile.

Rishi: Thank you yaar........
Ayush: Your welcome.
Rishi: Waise...kya Shalu bhi maanti hain ki maine Lakshmi ko force kiya tha to........
Ayush: No bhai.....Shalu ko aisa kabhi nahi laga ki aapne Lakshmi bhabi ko force kiya to attempt suicide but.......usse aisa lagta hain ki she attempted suicide because of you...because of your betray.

Rishi: Anyone will think that Ayush....because it's the truth that I betrayed Lakshmi.

Rishi: Anyways.......abhi filhaal mujhe dhoondna hain Lakshmi ke qaatil ko aur vo main karke hi dum loonga. Mere kuch suspects hain.

Rishi: Suspect No.1: Balwinder
            Suspect No.2: Malishka
            Suspect No.3: Malishka's father
            Suspect No.4: Kiran aunty
           

Rishi: Tu ek kaam kar.....Lakshmi ka phone le...aur uske call details ki saari list le kar aa. Ab tak toh police bhi vo bhi de degi tujhe...because it has been 10 years.

Ayush: Okay. Mera bhi ek suspect hain Rishi bhai.
Rishi: Kaun?
Ayush: Mom.
Rishi: What?
Ayush: Yes bhai.....mom Lakshmi bhabi ko apne raaste se hatane ke liye kuch bhi kar sakti thi. So I think that she could have also killed her.
Rishi: Okay....hum unhe bhi suspect rakhte hain....lekin humare prime suspects hain...Malishka and her family. Tu jaldi jaa........aur jaa kar vo list le kar aa. Ho sakta hain ki uss list mein koi aisa naam nikal aaye jiska humare suspects ke saath koi connection ho.
Ayush nodded and left.
