"Maa, please. Mujhe nahi karni hai shaadi, just let me sleep."
(I don't want to get married)
"Abhimanyu Singh Rajvansh! Sab karte h shaadi, and you're 33. Abhi nahi to kab karoge. Aur utho, das baj rahe hai."
(Everyone gets married. You're 33, if not now, then when? And get up. It's 10.)
For fucks sake. What is the point of getting married? Besides, I despise the girl she wants me to meet. Her friend's daughter, she is so annoying. She has to post every fucking thing on the internet. She clicks a million photos of the food she eats. I am not dealing with that shit.
"I am not going to marry or meet Niharika. She is ridiculously annoying." Maa makes a face but doesn't say anything. I know she doesn't like that girl either. She is just trying to send me for the sake of her friend.
Aarav leans closer and tries to whisper in my ear. Emphasis on 'tries', since everyone hears him. "She isn't good at sex either." Everyone glares at him and I shove his face away. He then gets a smack on his head from Ruhi chachi. Is there a girl he hasn't slept with already? Also, Why is everyone in my room? It's a fucking Sunday, why can't they let me sleep? Swara chachi pulls me up from the bed and shoves me in the bathroom after she tells me to freshen up and come down to eat.
I come down for brunch as I very clearly missed breakfast, but before I could eat, Caden pulls me away.
"Sir, I got to know that Ms. Singhania's lawyer suggested her to marry in a powerful family. I don't know the reason why he did that, but she has been meeting with a couple of rich, powerful men to, what I assume is finding a suitor."
It's not difficult to understand the reason when you know her past. I nod at him and go to have my brunch. It would be interesting to see her deal with rich snobs. But that is it. I wouldn't let her marry them. Ofcourse she is her own person and gets her own choice but she deserves better. She is too good for them.

Men, are fools. Rich men, are a disaster. Humanity is in danger and these fuckers are the reason. I don't understand why they are so far up in their own ass to look that the person sitting infront of them is not mute. None of the twelve men I've met have let me say a word. Only three of them were decent looking, and they were worse than the rest.
