Chapter 2

Tristan's POV

The day of the interview has come, and I am now currently looking at the possible hired employees for this company that would literally be a big help for our company.

I looked at the applicants who applied, and I only saw 175 since Sir Will told me na half of them he will interview online on the following days.

Tumingin ako sa mga applicants and while most of them look excited, I don't know if most of them have the potentials. Well, tignan na lang natin kung may makikilala ako, since andaming mga nag apply sa kumpanya na to.

Well, let's just see since Sir Will chooses the best ones so far.

As they were waiting, isa isa na silang nai-interview ni Sir Will while hoping he would definitely choose the best one so far.

"Hey man." Paglapit ni Ricky saakin.

"Only a few went into the company?" Tanong niya na nagtataka.

"Yung kalahati, Sir Will is gonna interview them online. He splat up the 350 interviewers who I chose the best base on their resumes, and it's up to Sir Will kung sino yung ihi-hire niya sakanila." Sambit ko na ikinatango niya.

"Well that makes sense. Knowing na this will be a hassle pag lahat ng pinili mo mag a-apply." Pagpaliwanag niya na ikinatuwa ko.

"Sino kaya mga bagong mukha na makikita natin?"

"Let's see. Knowing Sir Will definitely chooses not only the most experienced, but definitely the wise ones who has tons of capabilities." Sambit ko na ikinatango niya.

"Knowing Sir Will, he definitely gets the best ones. Kahit sa mga nagresign sa work na to, they always end up in a good note." Dagdag ni Ricky.

"Pero have you seen someone that you find interesting?"

"I'm not sure Ricky. Base on their work experience, everything seems to be fine. But maybe if I met someone that really interests me, maybe that's where I can approach that person." Sagot ko.

"Let's just wait if we have that chance though."

"Agreed."

After the interview, pumunta muna ako sa opisina ni Sir Will para kumustahin siya after his interview with the applicants.

"How's the interview Sir?"

"It's all good Tristan. Everything is going smoothly. Out of all the members, I only chose a few that interested me... for now. Since tomorrow, I'm allowing all of you to have your leave, we have no work day tomorrow so you can all have your rest." Sambit niya na ikinatango ko.

"Thank you Sir Will. This rest would literally mean alot to the employees." Sagot ko na ikina-ngiti niya.

"You may now announce the news Tristan. Make sure everyone knows so that they would be aware." Pagpaalala niya na ikinatango ko.

"You may now leave. Have a great day."

"You too Sir Will." Sambit ko bago umalis sa opisina niya.

Napabuntong hininga na lang muna ako at nag post na ng announcements ko sa GC ng mga employees that we have no work day tomorrow.

As expected, everyone was happy that we're gonna have a long weekend of all the hardwork they had.

Sigurado naman ako na deserve nila magpahinga.

Nag alisan na ang mga employees at dumiretso na ako sa isang mall at bumili na ako ng mga groceries.

Pupunta na sana ako sa cashier nang madaanan ko yung Baby Wellness na pinagtatrabahuan ni Alton kaya lumapit na ako.

"Hi! Welcome to Baby Wellness!" Bati niya.

"How are you doing Alton?"

"All good Tristan! Good thing na malaki ang tiwala ng mga nanay at tatay sa Baby Wellness, knowing na gusto nila ng mga gamit na bagay sa mga anak nila." Sambit niya na ikinatuwa ko.

"Ano, may gusto kang bilhin?" Tanong niya bago ako napatingin sa gilid.

Napatingin muna ako sa isang babae na tumitingin sa wallet niya at halatang medyo namamahalan siya sa presyo ng mga kailangan niyang bilhin.

"One second please." Sambit ko kay Alton bago lumapit sa babae.

"Do you need to buy something?" Tanong ko na ikinalingon niya.

"Oo. Cradle na lang kulang, kaso di kaya ng budget." Sagot niya na ikinatango ko.

"Take it. Ako na bahala sa bayad." Sambit ko na ikinalaki ng mata niya.

"Nako! Hindi na! Nakakahiya naman!"

"I insist. I'm sure you really need to make your baby comfortable while sleeping." Sambit ko bago ko kunin yung cradle.

"Alton, I'll buy this one." Sambit ko bago ko iabot yung bayad sakanya.

"Keep the change. You earned it." Sambit ko bago pumunta sa babae.

"All paid, do you want me to help you?" Tanong ko sakanya.

"Hindi na. Thank you ha?" Sambit niya bago ako ngumiti sakanya.

"Aalis na ako." Sambit niya bago tumalikod.

"Wait! May I know your name at least?" Tanong ko.

"Jacqui!"

"Tristan! Nice meeting you Jacqui!" Sambit ko na ikina-ngiti niya.

"Nice to meet you Tristan! Thank you ulit!" Sambit niya bago umalis sa harapan ko.

A few days past by, bumalik na kaming lahat sa work, and I'm sure Sir Will already hired the employees he chose for our company.

Pagkapasok ko pa lang, agad agad lumapit si Sir Will saakin at ngumiti na lang ito saakin.

"You're in a good mood today." Sambit ko na ikinatuwa niya.

"It's obvious right? I already chose the best people to work here. And by the way, I want you to guide a certain someone who will be working here, and I will assign you as her work partner." Sambit niya na ikinatango ko.

So it's a girl I'm working with... that makes sense.

"You may come here now." Utos ni Sir Will sa babae at nanlaki na lang ang mga mata namin na magkita kami.

"Jacqui??"

"Tristan??"

"Wait?? You know each other??"
