Haruka Nanase X Reader Chapter 6. "Your lips."

You stared blankly at his response to yours. Your heart beating loudly against your chest as you gulp silently in your throat looking away.
He was...smiling. Though there were no words slipping out of his mouth.

You were in awe at how perfect his lips worked into a smile and once you returned your gaze back to him. He had his plain old blank expression on, which made your cheeks slowly able to calm down. "Sorry,I'll let you get dressed." You heard him say as he exited out into the pool area. You leaned against a wall beginning to remove your uniform as a question had suddenly popped up into your mind. 'Why exactly did he smile at me....' You asked yourself even mumbling it out as you began to slip into the swimming clothes that Haruka lent you.

You quickly take a deep breath, since you were not really confident with your body but you had to show that you weren't just some stereotype shy girl. You want to show him that you are worth to be with him. You give yourself a pat on the shoulder and head out to the pool.

You reach to the edge of the pool only to find the black haired male already beginning to swim around freely as if he was a dolphin. You found it somehow beautiful, as your (e/c) orbs were captivated by how he swam so gracefully yet freely. Your stare was then disturbed by 'him' calling out your name. "(Y/n)." You hated being so spaced out so easily. You then turned your attention to him quickly responding with a hum.

"Sorry,Yeah?" You answer to him.

"I thought we were gonna swim. You know,together?" He blankly said with his hand slicking his wet hair back over his head, his head cocked slightly to the side as he gave you a small stare.

That look. Oh that look was too cute for you,you were dying deeply inside with that adorable look. Your heart nearly melted at that. "Huh? Oh yeah sorry." You said with a hint of nervousness hidden in your throat as you spoke. Before beginning to slowly slip into the pool, the feeling of the water touching your skin was rather ticklish to you and as soon as you enter into the pool, you swore your heart stopped. His fingertips were then wrapped around your wrist gently holding it as he began to pull you into the pool deeper. "H-Har--."

"Come." He spoke softly.

You can feel his hand slowly touching up to yours. His face slowly leaning into yours, his lips slightly puckered out to touch your lips which were puckered out for him as well. "(Y/n)..." You hear him say as he leaned in forward.

"(Y/n)."

Your eyelids began to flutter as they slowly began to open up to reveal your (e/c) orbs shining, your lips began to part as a small cough was then made out of your mouth. "Wha..?" You say in confusion wondering what happened. Your eyesight was in a bit of a blur due to the water dripped into your eyes; taking it a while to allow yourself to gain more access to seeing clearly and as soon as you did. You find...Haruka hovering above you with his blue oceanic orbs casting it's gaze down on you. "Wha..What happened?" You decided to finally ask out of confusion and timidness. "You passed out in the pool." He answered blankly as usual and for some reason your eyes were afixed on his.

"Me? How.."

"When you got in the pool, you drowned."

Hearing him say that just made you feel practically embarrassed now, you swore you could feel your guts getting knots around in his stomach in big embarrassment. "...Oh." You were only able to reply to him.

(HARUKA's P.O.V)
When I first saw her, I knew she was somehow special... I didn't know why I just had a feeling. She had beautiful (e/c) eyes , gorgeous (h/c) hair and an adorable name. (Y/n). I want you to be mine.

I eventually knew she had the swimming skill in her but I was actually surprised she drowned as soon as she entered into the pool. I wondered how and why. I quickly swam up to her unconscious form beginning to swoop her arm into my arms as I exited the pool with haste and gently lay her onto the ground beside the edge of the pool. I didn't have much choice but to give her C.P.R. And those lips of hers...were so soft and perfect; it was as if a fitting with mine.

(YOUR P.O.V.)
It was silent between the two of you for a while as if it was awkward enough, he spoke out the next sentence that just made your cheeks explode into a dark heavy blush of red and what he said to you was:

"(Y/n). I like your lips."
