1-Champions League final

Today is the champions league final . The match is Arsenal vs Barcelona. This is going to be a challenging match . If I wanted to be in the England squad this summer I would have to show my worth. This game is the best chance I have.

"Hello Bex Hello",Beth said waving her hand in my face . I snapped out of my thoughts,"Hello what do you want?".
"I was wondering if you wanted to come out with me and viv tonight u can bring someone with you if you want."
"I think I'll pass I don't really want to be a third wheel it's ok you still go I'll do my usual sit down and watch Netflix" .
"Ok. But if you change you mind text me." I waved her good bye and went to the bus.

I sat with my usual Leah,Jordan,Steph. We were playing at the Amex stadium so it was neutral ground. The training yesterday was only light seeing as we had a match the day after. It is currently 12.45 the match starts at 5;30. We where hoping to have a look around Brighton before we played.

We dropped are stuff of at the hotel I was roommates with Steph.We arrived in Brighton at with 1/2 hours to look around till we have to be back at the stadium .

We where in the changing room talking about tactics. The starting lineup was out and I started on the bench but was told I'd come on on the 60th minute.

We went out to start warmups .

I was walking out to the subs bench and two Barcelona players were also coming out I introduced my self "Hi I'm Rebecca Ellis but u can call me Bex".
"Hi I'm Patri Guijarro and this is Maria León but u can call her Mapi or Miss neck tattoo". The last part earned Patri a hit on the arm.I shook there hands .I walked away . I noticed that while Patri was talking to me all I could see was Mapi staring at me and when I shook her hand she started to blush . I shook my head trying not to overthink it.

Mapi POV:

"You like her don't you".Patri said with a massive grin on her face.
"No why would you think that and besides I don't even know her"
"Well you couldn't keep your eyes of her and you blushed when she shook your hand."I walked away not wanting to here it.

Bex POV:

As the game went on the we made a few mistakes but they didn't lead to anything except from one in the 37 minute and they scored ending the first half 1-0 Barcelona.
A half time the team was tired and wasn't working there best . Jonas gave us a inspirational speech and we went back out there . 5 mins into the second half and Leah gives away a pen .2-0 Barcelona . It came to the 60th minute and it was my time to shine. I knew I had to give it my all with already down 2 goals. In the 68th minute Beth was on the ball and squared it into the box and I hit it bottom left. Goal! 2-1 Barcelona. I grabbed the ball and ran to the start . We had a few more chances but in the 82th minute I was running through the middle and saw a defender coming I looked and I was outside of the 25 yard box so I hit it as hard I could. The world felt like it froze as it curled into the top right corner.2-2 Omg!! How have I done this . All my team piled on top of me.In the 90+4 minute was the last corner of the game and it was a Arsenal corner. Beth crossed the ball into the box and I connected my head to in and I flew past the goalkeeper straight into the bottom left . I did it a winning hatrick in a champions league final. I ran to the corner flag and did a knee slide and not a second after everyone joined me. We all walked back to are half and as soon as the whistle went the final whistle went all the Barcelona players dropped to the floor and most off are players they were exhausted.

I felt bad for all the Barcelona players they worked there hardest. As I was walking back to the changing rooms I could see Mapi sitting on the floor and her eyes were all red and puffy.I changed my way and walked over to Mapi . "Are you ok?" "Yeah" "Do you want to do a lap with me" "Sure" . As we were walking around I felt butterflies in my stomach and I don't know why. "Are you staying in a hotel near by". I asked ."Yeah it's just around the corner.why?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to come out tonight because my friends are going out and I don't want to be a third wheel so do you want to go ?" "Sure what time we going" "I'll meet you at your hotel at around 8:45." We exchanged details and I was called back for the reward ceremony. I was covered in champagne so I had a shower and waited in the changing room to talk to Beth.

Beth walked in.

"Beth are you still going out Tonight." "Yeah I knew u changed your mind I bet you can't wait to be a third wheel."
"Actually I was going to bring someone with me if that's ok ."
"No way who? Do I know them .Ill see them there " I just laughed at how excited she was .

I was dressed I had black ripped jeans, a white Nike top, a black denim jacked and white air forces. It was time to meet Mapi so I walked to go meet her

Mapi POV:

I was getting ready I had a room to myself.I chose to go with a Nike black top with a white hoodie ,white ripped jeans and black Jordans.

I thought the hall was clear so I started to walk down the hall towards the lobby when I heard "Where do you think your going?" I turned around to see Alexia looking at me with her arms crossed. "I'm just going out with friends."
"Mapi you don't have any friends over here ... ohhh is this with that girl Patri was telling me about." My face went bright red . I just turned around and walked away as I did this I heard her shout. "Don't come back late and no bringing her back." As I walked into the lobby there she was . She looked gorgeous.
