Ending chapter

"Im so glad to be home"
Sarah says as she lets herself fall onto the couch after just being released out of the hospital.
Florence sits down next to her
"I really love you so much" she reassures her sister.
"I love you too Florence" Sarah says while she crawls into Florence's arms.
"If you think about it, a lot has happened lately. It's crazy"
"Yeah. You really are the fighter of the family aren't you?"
"Flo, you literally played a trained assassin. How am I the fighter?" Sarah jokes around.

There is a silence for a while

"Can we go to the beach?"
"You can't swim baby. The doctor told you to take it easy"
"I know. I just want to watch the sunset. Please?"
"Yeah okay. We can do that. But let's both put something warm on tho. We don't want you getting sick now do we?"
"Nope" sarah says as she pops up from the couch and walks upstairs with Florence following her close behind.

Almost on top of the stairs sarah stops.
"Are you okay?"
"Y-yeah. Just taking a breath" she responds.
"Are you sure it's okay to go to the beach?"
"I just want to sit there"
"You would tell me when you feel like going home right?"
"Yes" sarah respond before continuing dragging herself to her room.

They both change into something warm before heading to the car

"I still don't understand why we are taking the car. It's literally a 10 minute walk"
"You know that you just almost died right? I want to safe as much energie I can with you"
"I don't feel like getting reminded of this whole situation Florence. Can we just forget anything happened?" Sarah says irritated
"Let's just go to the beach yeah?"
Sarah sighs
"Alright"

After a short car ride they get out of the car and sit on the beach.

"Florence?"
"Yeah?"
"I don't want to go back home. Can't I just stay with you?"

Florence wraps her warm arms around sarah holding her

"I'll see what I can do okay? I want you with me to."
"I love you Florence"
"I love you sweetheart. You are so strong. I'm so lucky to have a sister like you"
Tears start streaming down Sarah's face

"Hey what's wrong? Is anything hurting?"
"N-no. It's just happy tears for once Flo" sarah chuckles.

You watch the beautiful sunset together
"Who do you think of when you see the sunset?" Sarah asks
"What do you mean?"
"I always think of my best friend who passed away"
Florence holds sarah tighter

"I don't know. I never thought about that"
"I'm thankful for you Flo. A few days ago all I could wish for was to become a sunset like that"
"I'm so glad you're not honey. I can't think about the thought of losing you"

"Can't we stay like this forever?" Sarah asks
"Yeah. Let's do that" Florence responds kissing Sarah on the top of her head.
