Sorry for updating late, but abhi mere exams aagye hai and I have exams from 22nd, so I'll be updating alternatively I hope you understand🥺🦋

Karan's eyes opened first and he saw his favorite thing sleeping with an adorable smile on her face. He kissed her forehead and her smile went wider.

"Morning sunny!" She said in her kiddish voice and he closed his eyes while nuzzling into her hair. She cupped his chin with her hand and kissed it. "Laddoo, you'll need a hot bath. Come!" He picked her up in his arms and made her sit on the edge of the bathtub. He knew she'll be sore and she would be relaxed with a shower.

He switched on the geyser, while she brushed her teeth by then. He went outside and kept a towel and her bathrobe on the side. She was touched by his gestures like those.

It was the first time, he did these efforts. He was rude and non-interactive after his one night stands, he'd always leave after getting ready. But this time, it wasn't the same. She was different, she made him different too.

"Come on, I'll order some breakfast and also take a shower." She nodded and he left closing the door. She settled herself into the warm water, it was just perfect. He also took a bath and came outside in the guestroom just in towels. "Sunny, there's baba's clothes here-" She said coming in and saw him standing there with a towel wrapped around his torso.

"Stop it-" He looked away, she made him blush too. She chuckled and caressed his cheeks before leaving. The breakfast arrived and she got it in.

He came down after getting ready and sat on the dining. "Laddoo-" He saw his phone with numerous notifications and she was already surfing through her phone.

Why will he date her? Its just a fling like all others.

This is the journalist right? She was working as his PA! Duh its just a one night stand!

He called her once again, she was surfing and eating her breakfast. "Kya hua Sunny?"

"These headlines and comments..." He shifted his chair closer to her. "You don't need to explain me anything Kundri, I love you. And I believe you over these people, obviously I don't even know!"

He just smiled and sighed. He was nervous about this topic, how will she react? Is her trust going to imbalance due to these comments and news about him? The way she said it, there was no chance.

"Han Umar!" Tejasswi picked the call and put it on speaker. "Karan se baat karwa..."

"Speaker pe hi hai, karle!" She replied and shifted the phone a bit closer to him. "Karan, aaj tum log office jaa rahe ho na?"

"I don't know yet, if she feels fine toh chale jayenge!"

"Yeah yeah Umar, hum log jayenge na office, but what happened?" Tejasswi asked eating. "Arey we're planning a lunch together, toh it depends where you will be!" Karan agreed. "Jas ne bhi haan bola hai,"

"Cool!" Karan replied and they cut the call. "I'll just get ready-"

"I'll change on the way." Tejasswi went to her room and he put the plates into the sink. They leave together and he changed into his everyday clothes on the way.

"Tu jaa, mai coffee leke aaungi!" She told him and got down on the cafe floor while he went to his 5th one. She reached the cafe and found Jasmin sitting and reading her book. "Jas-"

"Teju, come!" Tejasswi came and sat near her while waiting for their coffees. "How was the duty yesterday?"

"The same what happened?" Jasmine asked casually. "No, Aly must have dropped you na," Tejasswi smiled and Jasmine rolled her eyes. "Kuch chalra hai kya?" Tejasswi smiled while she shook her head with a pout. "He's just my friend, zyada soch mat!" Tejasswi nodded and got her coffee.

"The assistant did a great job man!" She heard one of the employees when she was leaving. She reached his cabin and went inside. "Kuch kaha kisine?"

"Nahi toh?" She replied instantly. "Teja, he's already insecure of that topic, do not trouble him more." She smiled. "Time laga na isliye,"

"Jasmin thi na, uske saath." Karan nodded. "I got a call from Ms. Sharma, kal mil lena unse, you have no meeting at that time."

"Ab itni efficient assistant hogi toh sab kaam smoothly ho hi jayenge na!" He was back to his flirtatious works while she rolled her eyes. "Office aate hi sab same ha!"

"Kuch badla kaha tha," He winked and she went to her cabin. "This boy is going to be the death of me!" She said to herself and opened her laptop. He heard her say and grinned to himself.

They were doing their work when Tejasswi barged into Karan's cabin and he pulled her on him. "Yes m'lady?" Tejasswi stood up rolling her eyes, "Sunny, chalo lunch cafe me karenge..."

"But yaha karte hai na bahaar..." Tejasswi glared at him and he chuckled leaving behind her. They reached the cafe and found Jasmin, Vidhi and Umar already there. Tejasswi hugged Vidhi and sat beside Karan.

"She has truly changed the man bro!" They heard a whisper. Karan was about to get up when Tejasswi pressed his hands and gave him a smile. "Let them say whatever they want to..." She whispered and fed him. They all were joking and giggling.

"Okay guys, I have a news." Vidhi said and everyone looked at her. "I have been offered the Director post of my company!" Tejasswi jumped in happiness and hugged her tightly. "So this was the lunch plan huh!"

"Yep, and we're planning to leave next week..." Tejasswi looked at Umar and Vidhi confused. They sheepishly smiled, "Actually for the post I've to shift to New York!" Tejasswi's smile disappeared for a minute but came in, "I am so happy for you Vidhuuu!"

"I am sorry Teju," Vidhi said and Tejasswi shook her head. "Deva, connected rahenge na! Don't worry, and Umraojaan?"

"I have applied for the job at one of the hospitals there. I am glad now Jas will be here and she'll take care of the place here." Umar said looking at Jasmin who smiled. "Don't worry bhai, I will."

"Guys packing shuru kro firr, let's go shopping weekend bhi hai!"

"You girls can carry on!"

"Oh hello-" Tejasswi looked at Umar who zipped his mouth and nodded. She looked at Karan who gave her a 'I am always ready' look. Umar glared at him and Karan rolled his eyes. "Chale, you have to complete your formalities." Vidhi smiled and Umar nodded.

They hugged each other and left. Jasmin also went with them to the hospital. Karan and Tejasswi went to the 5th floor. "Miss karegi na unhe bahot!"

"Han, bahot-" She said sadly and he kissed her forehead. "Don't worry we'll visit them." Tejasswi pouted and nodded.
