Here's another update, aaj no skipping because my exams are finally over😙 Guys comment kardo, varna you know me well😛😉

Tejasswi went to the office the next day. She wore a black overcoat with a baby pink shirt inside. Black pants paired with them. Her hair was tied in a pony-tail and she knocked at Karan's cabin. She heard Karan and went inside.

"Morning Mr. Kundrra, here's your coffee..." She said softly. "Mr. Kamal Prakash was too loud, you're so soft spoken, facade or what-" Karan said shrugging his shoulders. "I am not that easy Mr. Kundrra,"

"You know what, you love your ass too much!"

"It is worth it." Tejasswi replied with a savage smirk and left towards her cabin. Karan rolled his eyes as she left.

"Why are you doing this Karan! I don't want to remember us, because you don't. You never will. I wish you had planned of wooing me, like earlier. For the revenge at least you wouldn't go away." She thought and started doing her work.

Karan kept irritating her again for the day. "Tum jail me kaise rahi? I don't know why Jasmin has appointed you!"

"Tumhe nahi lagta tumhare papa ke paas bahot paisa hai, tumhe yaha kaam karne ki kya zroorat hai?" Karan used to say things like these to her. She wanted to retaliate but how? They wanted him to know the truth of Mr. Prakash and her but how now?

"I miss you baba." She whispered to herself before leaving.

"Yeh ladki kuch toh chupa rahi hai, ab tak toh Mr. Kamal Prakash ko yaha aa jaana chahiye tha." He rolled his eyes as he left for a meeting.

"Baba kabhi nahi aayenge Karan, vo hume chordh ke dhaai (2.5) saal pehle hi chale gaye..." Tejasswi saw his confused face and spoke to herself. She missed him, she needed him. A father was always a solace, since the time she had forgiven him, he left no stone upturned to make her feel blessed, pampered, loved and respected in all aspects. Her father changed, he changed for good.

She went back to her work and kept working till her office hours were over. Karan was always suspicious of her behavior but his hate for her and her father was too much to think after that.

It had been 2 weeks since Tejasswi had started working there. She was efficient and perfect in all the tasks he gave her. His only issue with her was, why did she always arrive at his favorite restaurant for dinner, especially when he was out with Palak.

He was suspicious and even tried going alone and found her eating, did she not have a cook or someone to cook for her, was a question in his mind. He thought that she followed him and Palak for some reason but she usually ate there.

Meanwhile, knowing the suspicion in his mind, she used to frequently go there so that he doesn't think it is for him. Jasmin and Tejasswi had tried many ways to recreate the moments but he would just look away. He did not even glance at Tejasswi properly.

"Ms. Prakash," Tejasswi heard Palak and looked up from her dinner. "I've been noticing this since past week, why are you following us?" Tejasswi's eyes widened, she used to sit behind Palak, did she also notice her? "Answer me? What is your problem?"

"I am just having my dinner." She whispered and Karan heard it. "Please get out of this place right now... I said leave." Palak was harsh while speaking while Tejasswi kept waiting for Karan. But she knew, he hates her after all. She just looked into his eyes and left. Her eyes held tears and pain, what was she suffering.

"Palak, you shouldn't have talked to someone like that. I have seen her many times having dinner here when I am alone or at a meeting." Palak's mouth opened in a 'O'. She had heard from the office people that Tejasswi was the best person for Karan and always had an insecurity from her. Tejasswi had ordered to not tell about their past to any new people there. "I actually-" Karan didn't let her finish. "No, even if she did follow us, you can't talk to anyone like that."

"You yourself hate her, and..." She debated. "Palak, whatever it is. I hate her, you shouldn't I guess." He said and left. Palak stormed her feet on the floor angrily.

"Ms. Tejasswi Prakash, I won't let you win." She said.

Tejasswi had decided to give it back now. She was getting back to herself, from giving savage replies to singing while working. Karan was getting irked by her behavior, he was already interested in knowing why Mr. Kamal Prakash was not coming to save her daughter.

"Morning Mr. Kundrra, here's your coffee."

"You missed the word good, Ms. Prakash." Tejasswi gave a smile, "There's nothing good of me being here, so obviously." She gave a sarcastic nod and left. Karan shook his head and smiled, "This girl is definitely not easy." He said and rolled his eyes again hearing her sing.

Vidhi and Jasmin were really happy seeing her getting back to herself. Karan had changed her, getting her back to normalcy.

"Mr. Kundrra, I asked Tejasswi to help me with the presentation but she's saying she has to go somewhere at 1." Karan looked at Tejasswi confused. "And what happened suddenly?"

"She everyday leaves at 1 for an hour." Palak said smirking at Tejasswi who just cursed her in her mind. "What happened Ms. Prakash, well maybe you would go and meet your father isn't it?" She didn't reply, she didn't want him to know Ishaan.

"Well today, you aren't leaving." Karan said firmly and she opened her mouth to argue but shut herself seeing his glare. "I-" She rolled her eyes and left.

She was sitting in her cabin and cursing Palak and Karan. "How will my baby go back? Vidhi and Umar will be busy, aur Vidhi abhi nikli bhi toh 2 baje se pehle pahoch nahi payegi, mera baccha kaha jayega!!" She called at his school but it didn't connect.

Karan reached Yashika's school and went to her. He had been meeting Ishaan who treated Yashika just like his sister. "Hello handsome..." He shook hands with the little boy. "Hello mamu!"

"Mamu, jaan nahi aayi abhi tak!" Yashika said sadly. "Kon jaan?"

"My jaan, she comes to pick me everyday on time."

The teacher came towards them and Karan smiled formally. "Ishaan, your guardian will not be able to pick you up today. Your mumma is gonna come later."

"Jaan ko kya hua?" Yashika asked the teacher. "Beta unke office me bahot kaam aa gaya hai, and she cannot leave." Karan nodded. "Ma'am, I'll take Ishaan with me." Yashika said excitedly. "Mamu, Vidhi mami ka number mai aapko de dungi, she'll pick Ishaan. Aap hume apne office leke jaao na, Ishaan you wanna see his office?" Yashika said excitedly and Ishaan nodded. "Yes I'll be bored here." Karan smiled. "Ma'am I'll take her." The teacher nodded as she knew how good friends Yashika and Ishaan were.

Karan drove towards his office. "Aisa bhi kya kaam aagya, she couldn't come and pick his child. How can a guardian be this irresponsible." Karan said in his mind as they reached his office.
