Chapter 14

"Wake up, wake up" Laura says jumping on top of me. I open my eyes and Justins in the corner smiling at the both of us.

I turn over and close my eyes again. I feel Laura lay down right beside me. "Why won't you get up"? Laura says.

I groan and pull the covers off of me and roll over Laura. I stand up and look at Justin. "Get out" I say.

"Why"? He ask

"I have to change, so could you please get out" I say.

He walks out and then I remember I don't have any clothes. Laura runs to the closet and pulls and blue jeans and a t-shirt.

"We went and bought you this" she says.
"oh, thank you" I say grabbing the Clothes.

I put on the clothes and brush out my hair with my fingers. I walk out the room with Laura and follow her downstairs.

We walk to the kitchen and Kate making breakfast. She looks over at me and smiles. I pull a chair and sit in it.

"How long are you staying"? Kate ask

"I'm going home today" I say.

"you and Justin look cute together" she says.

I look up and laugh "where not together" is say. She looks at me with shock. "Really"? She says.

"Yeah some things just happened last night and he took me here to sleep" I say.

"Your welcome here anytime" she says.

"Thank you" I say.

"Are you ready to go"? Justin says from behind us.

I nod and get up and walk over to him. Laura runs over and gives me a hug and we walk out and get in his truck.

"Are you ready"? He says

"Yeah" I say

He drives me to my house and I get out and look back at him. I smile and wave and he pulls out and leaves. I take a deep breath and I start walking to the front.

I look over at the tree and think mabye I can sneak in like I used too. It's been two years since I last did it but let's try.

I walk over to the tree and grab a branch and pull myself up. I grab another branch and I keep climbing.

I make it to my window and luckily it's open. I climb in and walk slowly to my door. I open it and I slowly walk out.

I look around upstairs for her but she's not there. I walk down the stairs and I stop when I see somebody laying on the couch.

Why can't she just leave. I walk over to the couch and I look at her. She's asleep it looks like she's been up all night, probably waiting for me.

I shake her and she wakes up. She jumps right when she sees me. I give her a little smile and I sit down across from her.

She runs her hands through her hair and she looks at me. I sit there waiting for her to say something but I know I have to say the first word.

"How long are you staying"? I say

"I-I don't know" she says.

"Don't think that I'm going to act like I'm your daughter" I say.

She looks up at me and nods "I know" she says.

I get up and walk outside and I go and sit on our steps. "Anna" I hear somebody say.

I look up and it's emma walking towards me. I smile and get up and run to her and I give her a hug.

"I heard what happened" she says.

"Oh" I say.

"I'm sorry that she died" she says.

"Yeah me too" I say.

"When are you coming back to fight" she asks.

I look down and say "never".

"What, why"? She says

"It's just to much for me I'm sorry" I say.

"I always knew you would give up" she says.

"Excuse me" I say

"I knew you would give up, you weren't a real fighter you are a fake" she says.

Anger goes through me when she says that.

"Your mom didnt just die and then you find out she really wasn't your mom and then your real mom is sitting in your house right now. Your dad isn't dead because of you" I yell.

She looks at me with shock. "Your still a fake" she says.

I lose control of myself and I punch her right in the jaw. She falls to the ground right when I hit her.

"You deserve that" I yell at her as I walk away.

Right when I turn around I hear a loud noise and something hit me on my side and I fall. Blood starts to go everywhere then I realize somebody just shot me.

"Anna" I hear somebody scream.

My mom comes and right beside me and tries to pull me up. "Momma" I Whisper Right Before Everything Goes black.
