Chapter 15

I wake up and I look around. I feel a sharp pain in my side. I look down and I see my side is wrapped.

I look up again and realize I'm in a hospital room. Then I remember I was shoot. Who shot me?

I hear the door open and I look down and Justin walks in. I close my eyes again acting like I'm still asleep.

I open my eyes a little to look at him. He sits down and he looks at me. I can see he's sad when he looks at me.

I move around and I open my eyes. He jumps up right away when I move. He runs out the room and comes back with a doctor.

"I can see your awake now, how are you feeling"? The doctor ask.

"My side hurts" I say.

"Yes you where shot, it will take a couple of months to heal." He says

"Who shot me"? I ask

"Emma" Justins says.

"Of course" I say.

"You seem to be fine so I'll let you get settled in" the doctor says.

He walks out and leaves me alone with Justin. Justin walks over to the side of the bed and grabs my hand.

"I'm sorry this happend to you" he says.

He squeezes my hand and let's go. "Why would she shoot you" he says.

"Reasons" I say.

He smiles and sits down. "I always liked a girl who has a mystery with her" he says winking at me.

"Where's my um mom" I say not wanting to say that.

"She had to leave this morning for work" he says.

"Wow, she's such a great mom" I say.

"She told me to tell you that she loves you and she will be back soon and that she hopes you get better soon" he says.

I roll my eyes and say "Whatever". "You could be at least be nice" he says.

"Yes, I'm going to be nice to my mother who decides just to come in my life after 19 years but whatever I'll be nice" I say.

Justin walks back is very beside me and look me in my eyes. "I'll be here no matter what" he says.

"I-I thought you where dead when you got shot and I didn't know what I would do without you" Justins says.

I lay there and look at his grey eyes. "You would just live life without me" I say.

"I don't want to live my life without you Anna" he says.

He leans over and kisses me and I've never felt happier in my life.
