His a high ranking soldier while she's a simple nurse

Let's see the journey between the two of them, can both find it in their hearts to fall in love or will this only lead to serious consequences.

At precisely 5:00 a.m., the soft chime of Eliza's alarm pulled her from the depths of a dreamless sleep. Her eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the pale light of dawn filtering through her window. The tranquility of her modest apartment was comforting, a small reprieve from the chaos of the hospital. Stretching her arms, she slowly sat up in bed, glancing at the peaceful form of her cousin Lisa still nestled beneath the blankets. Lisa, a teacher, had no reason to be up this early, and she wouldn't need to stir until much later. But Eliza's work demanded an earlier start, especially in these trying times.

By 5:20 a.m., Eliza was dressed, her nurse's uniform pristine and neatly pressed, as always. She moved about the small kitchen, grabbing a quick breakfast. Once she was ready to head out the door, she called out to her cousin with a mischievous grin, "Hey Lisa, get up! I'm off to work!"

A loud grumble came from the bedroom. "Why do you always have to wake me up?" Lisa groaned as she emerged from the bed, her hair sticking out wildly, giving her the appearance of someone who had just tangled with a tornado. Stretching her arms above her head, she yawned loudly.

"Because I love annoying you, that's why," Eliza teased. "You know it gives me great joy."

Lisa rolled her eyes, still half-asleep. "Whatever. I'm up now. Though, I seriously need more sleep."

Eliza chuckled, reaching for her bag. "Whatever, sis. I'll see you later. I'll be back by six."

Lisa smirked, even through her drowsiness. "Yeah, sure. Oh, and don't forget to say hello to that handsome doctor of yours."

Eliza shot her cousin a look. "You mean Doctor Joe? He's in his fifties, Lisa. And besides, he's married."

Lisa gave a lazy shrug. "Doesn't matter. He's still handsome, and you know it. I've seen the way the other nurses swoon over him. Heck, some of the patients do too."

Eliza couldn't help but laugh. Lisa wasn't wrong. Doctor Joe was a popular figure at the hospital, admired not only for his good looks but also for his kindness and dedication to his patients. However, Eliza saw him as nothing more than a mentor-a caring and wise figure who had helped her grow as a nurse.

After exchanging goodbyes, Eliza stepped outside, the crisp morning air waking her up fully as she flagged down a cab. The city was still in its early hours, the streets quiet, save for the occasional car passing by. As they drove through the nearly empty streets, her mind wandered back to the hospital, wondering what the day might bring.
