The war was terrifying lots of dead bodies almost everywhere on the ground, loss of blood, bullets and killing, injuries, some that survived were evacuated by the help of some of the soldiers that still had their legs they carried their men on their backs because of the grenades that hit them due to the impact of explosion.

For a while now commander Richard was in the army medic tents counting his men that were badly injured.

" What are we going to do commander.. our men keep on dying everyday, we need to evacuate our badly injured soldiers and recruit new ones!" Aaron a young soldier at about the age of thirty one had asked he was commander Richard right hand man.

"We are" Commander Richard replied feeling ashamed, he didn't want to this army to loose, the general would probably think he wasn't sufficient enough to lead an army anymore and his competitor Alexander was great at leading, if the general were to find out about the news he would be put to shame, but he also knew he was running out of time and needed more soldiers.

"I need you by tomorrow to head back to the campground and request the general on my behalf to recruit more soldiers, is that understood " Commander Richard gave out his orders to his most trusted soldier and Aaron was no fool, he knew that he had to pretend to the general that commander Richard was doing ok in the war so that he wouldn't raise suspicion and order Alexander to take his place.

"Yes sir' he saluted the commander and got into preparation for his journey.

"What d-do you mean by stay-in nurse " Eliza didn't mean to stutter but his statement just caught her off guard.

Alex stared at her and then gave her a cocky smirk

"What I mean by that baby nurse is that you will start living with me in my tent .. alone with me" he almost let out a laugh at the last statement because the facial expression on Eliza's face was priceless.

"With no due respect, commander but I cannot do that... You are almost healed you don't need me to stay in " she had concluded firmly getting ready for any arguments.

But I need to protect you, Alexander had thought deeply, then he cleared out his throat and glared at her.

"That was an order Eliza " he said finally not expecting any more words from her but ofcourse Eliza was a stubborn woman she had to protest

"No way . I'm not taking that order from you, exactly tell me why I have to sleep with you" Eliza was done with him bossing her around she needed him to hear her like a fellow human being and respect her own decisions.

But Alex burst out into laughter and this took Eliza out in surprise, this man knows how to laugh, Eliza was truly shocked and he even appeared much more younger even more attractive to her but he had continued for a few more seconds before he slowed down.

He came closer to her with his crutches and her back hit against a wall but he had stopped leaving a few space between them.

"My dear baby nurse, no one talked about you sleeping with me " he said mischievously while smirking but Eliza was quiet she had forgotten for a moment how handsome the commander was and him being close to her got her in a haze.

"What... You suddenly can't speak?" Alexander seemed really amused with this situation and Eliza blushed hard, she felt really embarrassed.

"Eliza, we don't have all day" he didn't sound angry but he wanted her to talk so that he could know exactly what she was busy thinking.
