CHAPTER THREE
Through the window, the sun entered the room. It landed directly on the boy's face, disrupting his sound sleep. He sighed and shifted his weight to the other side. A noise occurred as if fate was not on his side. Not far away, a loud saxophone was playing. Another groan escaped his lips. The environment was not favorable for good sleep.
Jungkook gently opened his eyes. His head was hurting. He adjusted his vision to compensate for the intense light in the room. A gasp escaped his wide lips as his gaze swept the surroundings. He had no idea where he was. How did he end up in such a strange room? Jungkook stood up instantly, confusedly glancing around. He was taken aback when he found himself in an unfamiliar room. There was no sign of a human being anywhere.
Was I kidnapped from the club last night?
He groaned when a sharp pain ran through his head. He held his head in his hands and sighed deeply. His weary eyes roamed around once again. This time, he noticed something usual in the room. Some clothing pieces were laying on a chair beside the window. Jungkook got down from the bed and strolled toward the chair. He picked up the cloth in curiosity. Turning out, that it was a bra. His eyes enlarged at the realization. It was a girl's house. It was even worse. Did he hook up with any random girl? No way! No how?
"Put it down!" A girl screamed, startling the poor boy.
Jungkook swiftly turned around and saw me. Both of us were looking at each other in horror. He was surprised to see me here. My cheeks turned red. He was holding my undergarment.
As I approached him, I sighed. Jungkook looked at me, perplexed. Many questions were running through his head, and his face reflected them.
"What are you doing here?" He inquired.
"It's my house."
He widened his eyes. "What am I doing here?"
"Err...I will tell you everything. But can you please leave it?" I pointed at the clothing piece in his hand. "It's embarrassing."
Jungkook looked down at the clothing piece and realized. He threw that on the chair and sighed. "I am sorry."
"It's okay. No worries!" I put the glass on the nightstand and signaled him to sit down. Jungkook obeyed me like a kid and sat down on the bed. His eyes roamed everywhere uncomfortably.
I smiled at him. "Take it easy, Mr. Jeon." I gave him the glass and a pill. "It's a good medicine to help you with a hangover."
Jungkook didn't question me further and took the pill as I said. He swallowed the water in a go and put the glass on the table.
"So..." He started. "How did I land here? I remember I was at a club last night."
"Well, I was also at the club. When I found you there, you were drunk and almost passing out. So, I helped you and brought you to my house." Even though I was explaining to him in a calm tone, my heart was racing with fear. What if he was offended? He will misunderstand things.
