CHAPTER EIGHTEEN 

Jungkook's pov

 The room lit up with the TV's light. Sound off. Breeze entered the room through the half-opened window. I sat in silence, a glass of wine in my left hand, and my right hand scrolled through the file I was reading. I worked extra hours since Tuesday; Jasmine had to leave for four days to attend a family gathering. She told me it was necessary, though she didn't want to go, she had to. And without her, I couldn't feel myself. So, I distracted myself with work. 

I leaned back on the couch's hearest and sipped the wine. Suddenly, a notification popped up on my phone. I put the file on the table and grabbed the phone instead. A smile crawled to my face instantly; I rushed to open the message. It was my lady. 

Jasmine: I am so worn out here without you. 

Jungkook: So am I. 

Jungkook: Where are you? I mean in the house or... 

Jasmine: I am in the hotel room. It's my cousin's wedding. 

Jungkook: Hmm. I miss you. 

Jasmine: Me too :( 

Jungkook: I wish you were here. I badly want to hug you. 

Jasmine: Miss me a little more baby. Perhaps you will know my worth. 

Jungkook: As if I don't know your worth. 

Jungkook: You are hurting my poor heart. 

Jasmine: Is that so? 

Jasmine: I think you should miss me a little more. 

Jungkook: You are being rude :( 

Jasmine: If you keep sulking, I won't send you the surprise I have. 

Jungkook: What surprise?

Jasmine: Be a good boy and get it. 

I smiled upon reading the texts. This girl knew how to tease me, at the same time, bring me immense joy. I noticed the three dots appeared on the screen and lingered there for a moment before they disappeared again. I sighed, typing my reply. 

Jungkook: How do you want me to be a good boy? 

Jasmine: What do you mean? 

Jungkook: Don't act to be a fool now 

Jungkook: Tell me the way you want me to be good for you, and I will ;) 

Jasmine: :0 

Jasmine: You are teasing me even through texts 

Jungkook: That's what I am for babygirl
