Firstly, I give my absolute respect for Kazuki Takahashi, who has passed away earlier this year. He has created a huge impact on mine and everyone else in the Yu-Gi-Oh community's lives. May he rest in eternal peace as the real King of Games.
Hello and welcome to my story Our Promise!
I am here to not only welcome you, but also to give you a tiny tip in advance with the direction of this plot. Sort of like a quick info swoop before you dive in.
This story will have in total 3 seasons and episodes will vary, they will most likely be 5 episodes, but of course that depends on the pace of each chapter!
This story will also be focused MAJORLY IN THE MANGA (with small reference to the Japanese dub....and LittleKuriboh!) NOT. THE. ENGLISH. DUB. This is because the English dub has censored a good portion of Marik's character and his arc, hence why I have to stay away from the English dub as to provide Marik's full character and his backstory. So, I have to give a slight warning: If you are not familiar with Marik's background outside the English dub, I strongly recommend briefly looking into it before reading this story.
Besides that, I thank you for taking your time to read this story!
