Fear is rushing through my body
My heart is freezing of despair
Cold shivers down my spine
Trying to wake up, desperately
This has to stop, I can't take it
Breathing fast in shallow
Trying to keep it all together
Agitation is breaking my spint
Images rushing by
I have to get out of this
Can't take this much longer
My mind switched to standby
A nightmare so horrifying
Fear and pain so deep
I have to wake up!
Except.....
My eyes are wide open and I'm not asleep....
