Chapter 17

The car drove up to the cafe. Jess and Peter said goodbye to Charlie and went to Mr. Darks.

- Good evening, Mr. Darks. - Peter said, going into the office. A girl followed him.

- Good evening, guys. How can I help you?- asked Mr. Darkes.

- Peter and I decided to throw a surprise party for Theo, in honor of his 20th birthday...- Jessica began.- Can we use the cafe main hall tomorrow night?

- Sure you can. But it will take a long time to prepare, and there is a possibility that we will have to close the cafe for the day. - said the man.

- Thanks a lot! - said Jess and they left. - I'm home. See you tomorrow morning at 8:30.

- OK. Bye.- Peter said and they parted ways.

Jess headed towards the high-rise building where Theodore lives.

When the girl entered the apartment, her eyes fell on the guy snoring on the sofa in the living room. Whein lay in just shorts, no T-shirt.

Jessica quietly walked over to Theo and sat down next to him. For a few minutes, Jess just stared at him.

Second. Jerk. Jess fell on Theo and strong hands pressed the girl to the body of the guy. Theo sat Jess on his torso. The boy's hands slid around Jess's waist.

- Hello baby. 

- And hello to you, little fox. How long did you sleep? - the girl asked.

- I don't know, maybe 3 hours.

- Oh, you're sleepy... - Jessica sighed and kissed Theo. - All right. Get up, let's go cook dinner and maybe go for a walk in the park.

- OK.

They got up and went to the kitchen.

After an hour everything was ready and they sat down to supper. After dinner, they cleaned up and went to the park.

Morning 7. August. Time 6 am.

Jessica woke up and went to the bathroom. Having done all the morning things, the girl went to prepare breakfast. Jess decided to make Theo's favorite pancakes with caramel and berries. About an hour passed. Wayne was still asleep. The girl finished decorating breakfast and cleaned up. Taking the tray, Jessica quietly made her way into the room.

- Good morning, fox. Happy Birthday!-  the girl said when Theo opened his eyes.

- Mmmm... Good morning, babe. - muttered the guy. - Thanks!

- This is for you.- Jess held out the tray.

Theo took a seated position and took the tray.

- Thanks baby. Sit down with me, I'm all one and the same. - said Theo.

Jess crawled under the covers and snuggled up to the guy. After breakfast in bed, they got out of bed. Jess took the phone. 7.48 am.

- Listen, Theo, I need to run to the cafe.- Jess said.

- Well, go. - Theo answered.

Stars quickly dressed, painted her eyelashes and small arrows. After kissing Theo, Jess headed for the cafe like a bullet. Entering the cafe, Jess saw a lot of boxes. Among them were Mr. Darks and Peter. Jess walked over to them.

- Good morning.

- Good morning, Jess.- Peter said.

- Good morning, Stars. You are just in time. - said Mr. Darks and left.

- Peter, what's going on here? - asked the girl.

- They brought decorations for the party and table equipment. Your task is to choose the design and filling of the cake and snacks with drinks. And yes, you should keep Theodore as far away from the cafe as possible until the evening.- Peter added.

- Good.

They went to the administration and Jess began to choose. 10 minutes and the list was ready.

- Since that's all, I'll go. And then Theo was already waiting. - said Jess.

- Good. Bye, I'll write to you when everything is ready. - Peter said.

Jessica nodded and left the cafe.

Entering the apartment, Jess went to the bedroom. Theodore was in the bath at the time. Jess opened the closet with dresses and skirts.

"And what should I wear?" Jessica asked herself. 

After standing like that for 5 minutes, Jess chose two options. A light lavender dress and a gray T-shirt with a black tennis skirt. In another closet, the girl found black shorts. While Jess was choosing a look, Theo quietly crept up behind her. The guy's strong arms sank to Jess's waist.-

- Hello baby. What are we doing here without me?-asked Theo. The girl shuddered.

- Hi, fox. Choosing what to wear. Today I have a day off and we will go somewhere.- Jessica said and kissed Theo on the nose. - Help me choose.

- I think football and shorts will look great.

They got dressed and went out into the yard.

- Let's get to my house and then further. - said Jess.

- Good.

Jess took Theo's hand and they walked towards the house. They walked in silence. As they approached the house, Jess dropped her hand.

- Wait for me here, I'll be quick. - said the girl and ran upstairs.

When Jess entered the apartment, she went to the living room. There were car keys on the table.

''I haven't ridden it in a long time... Okay, let's go downstairs.'' flashed through Jess's mind.

Jessica took the keys and ran to Whein.

- Let's go, a beautiful day awaits you. - said the girl.
