Chapter 20

Jessica led the guy towards the cafe "Dark Secret". Coming closer, the girl stopped and blindfolded the guy's eyes. They went inside the cafe and went up to the second floor. Entering the assembly hall, Jess removed the bandage.

- Happy Birthday! - Shouted all present in the hall and Jess.

Theo looked around and saw his friends and loved ones. The whole team gathered here, including Oliver Davis, Charlie, Peter, Bill, Mr. Darks, Amanda and Jessica. The guy smiled.

- Thank you very much.. - Whein said, looking at them.

Everyone started to congratulate Theo little by little. First, there were the teammates, then Bill and Mr. Darks, Amanda, Oliver and Charlie and Peter, and finally the moment had come.

The girl stood on the stage with a microphone in her hands. A melody began to play, which the guy immediately recognized. Jess smiled and began to sing.

Theodore looked at the girl without taking his eyes off. A tear rolled down his cheek. He wiped it off and smiled. When the girl stopped, everyone began to applaud. The girl went down from the stage and approached her boyfriend. She hugged him and kissed him, pressing her whole body against him. Theo put his arm around the girl's waist.

Pulling back, Jess smiled and held out the two gifts, Oliver had brought her.

- Happy birthday, little fox. Stars whispered and smiled.

- Thank you princess. - The guy said quietly, stroking Jess's waist. Theo placed the presents, among the others, still looking back at the huge box.

Everyone started having fun. Mr. Darks and Ms. Whein were talking about something while Theo and Jessica and Peter and Charlie danced somewhere nearby. Oliver stood off to the side discussing the latest Dragon game with one of the guys.

The girl hugged the guy by the neck, resting her head on his shoulder. They continued to dance. Bill changed the music. Jess stopped and took two glasses of champagne, holding one out to Theo. The guy nodded and took a sip.

- Thank you for this wonderful day. - said the guy, hugging Jess.

- My pleasure. I'm glad you're happy. - said the girl, sipping champagne.

They stood near the stage, silently watching the guests.

- The song you sang.. - the guy began. - It was the best thing I've ever heard.

- Is it true?

- Yes. By the way, how did you know that this is my favorite song? - asked Theo. - I didn't tell you, and few people know.

- This is your favorite song? - the girl was in a small stupor. - I didn't know.. I just love this song and decided to sing it.

Theo smiled and nodded.

- I will ask you to sing it more often. - said Theo and stroked the girl on the head. The girl smiled.

- I don't mind.

After standing aside for a while, the couple decided to approach their friends. The guy introduced his girlfriend to the others and sat on the couch next to Jess. Friends started talking about everything in the world.

Jess sat with a glass in her hands, watching Theo. Whein smiled imperceptibly and took the girl's hand, talking to the guys and Charlie. He took her into his lap and hugged her.

- Is everything okay, princess?- Theodore asked, resting his head on Jess's shoulder.

- Yes, it's all right. Just a little tired. - the girl whispered and stroked the guy on the head.

Theo smiled and kissed the girl on the cheek.

It was dark outside, the time was approaching midnight. The guests began to leave. Only Theodore, Jessica, Amanda, Oliver and Mr. Darkes remained in the cafe.

Oliver said goodbye to the couple and left the cafe. Theo looked at Amanda.

- Mom, I'll take you to my place, it's already quite late to return to the country. - said the guy, hugging Jess by the waist. - And Jess and I will stay with her.

Amanda nodded and they all left the cafe together. Mr. Darks withdrew, leaving them alone. Jess held the boy's hand as they walked towards her house. Approaching Jes's car, Theo got behind the wheel, Miss Whein sat next to the guy, and the girl got behind the driver.

The car started moving. After a couple of minutes they were at the high-rise building. They got out of the car and went upstairs. Amanda liked the living room, and Theo went into the bedroom. Jess walked in with the guy and sat on the bed, looking up at him. The guy smiled and walked over to the closet. Taking a couple of things, the guy folded them into a backpack and approached the girl.

- We can go. The guy said softly and smiled.

They went into the living room. After saying goodbye to Amanda, the couple went down to the yard. They got into the car and headed towards Jess's house.
