It honestly seemed like he was trying to convince himself than childe, childe laughed, he cupped his face then smiled "it's.. alright xiansheng-" "no it's not alright!, Childe your bleeding and if you don't get healed soon you will bleed to death i-" tears streamed down zhongli's face as he held childe's his "I don't wanna loose you too....." Childe's eyes widen in surprise, childe finally gave up as tears also started to stream from his eyes, "I don't wanna die.... I don't wanna leave my siblings... I don't wanna leave you..." He said as he cried and cried

"it's gonna be alright childe your not gonna die so please don't say that i-" Zhongli tried to use his power to heal childe but it wouldn't work the wound was too deep and almost impossible to heal.

Zhongli said as he tried and tried but it was impossible, with his current power he can't heal childe, and the closest statue was miles and miles away- childe wouldn't make it, childe watched as zhongli struggled to heal him, he kissed zhongli on the forehead "it's ok xiangsheng..." His laugh was cut short when he felt a sharp pain coming from his chest. It seems the poison was taking it's effect, zhongli called out to childe as childe gripped his chest "childe are you alright!?!?"

Silence washed over them as childe looked at him seriously, with a hint of sadness in his eyes childe said "listen zhongli... I don't have much time left before the poison takes effect and my heart stops beating... That's why I want you to promise me something...." "What is it?" Zhongli said "I want you to promise me you'll take care of my siblings after I... And I want you to promise me you'll live a happy life with or without me." "but baobei i-" "no buts. "I promise..." Childe looked at him and smiled "thank you... My beloved..." He said with a side smile on his face, childes eyes widen as he grabbed his chest "childe!?" Zhongli called out to him

Nothing but silence was heard... Tears streamed down zhongli's eyes as he saw his friend, crush, beloved, die in front of him, he held childe's cold dead body in his arms as the sun began fall........
