I flashed her a glare before putting on my best fake smile. She seemed to do the same. "Hi, you must be the new girl! I'm Kokomi Teruhashi. It's nice to finally meet you." Teruhashi smiled. "It's nice to meet you as well. I'm Yamada Y/N." I said, with a monotone voice.

'Why hasn't she said, "Oh wow!" yet?!'

I gave her a weird look. How desperate is this girl? I suddenly stop in tracks, just realizing something. How was Saiki talking to me without moving his mouth?

We all walked together down to the ramen shop. I was beside Saiki and the other boy, Kaidou. He seemed nice and he's kinda shy. Teruhashi was walking between Yumehara and Nendou. I was talking with Kaidou about something called Dark Reunion?

I'm not sure what he's even talking about, but I'm going along with it. He seemed excited to have someone to talk to about his imaginary thoughts and powers. That made me happy too. We finally arrived at the ramen place, which was a total relief. I sighed with slight happiness while walking behind Saiki and Nendo.

It smelled good in the restaurant and that made me even hungrier. I giggle to myself as I take a seat beside Saiki, thinking about ramen. Little did I know, Saiki let out a sigh of relief while silently thanking a higher power that I beat Teruhashi to the seat next to him. Teruhashi sat beside Nendo, who was sitting in front of Saiki, with a disappointed face.

Chiyo sat beside her with a slight pink tint to her face while Kaidou sat beside me.

'I can't believe I'm this close to Saiki. He looks so cute!'

Chiyo thought. I froze in my seat. Her crush is Saiki?! Then I felt him tense up beside me. 'He must know too! Does he like her back!?' I felt myself smirk with amusement. "No, I have zero romantic feelings for Yumehara. Keep it in your pants." Saiki said, telepathically. I glared at him. "Buzz kill."

"Shut up."

"You shut up!" I said back before both of us started glaring at each other. I felt the metal spoon in my hand bend with ease.

'Why is Saiki staring at her? Does he like her? No! He couldn't possibly be in love with her and not me!'

I could feel Teruhashi's hard glare in the side of my head as I started to talk to Kaidou. I finished the glaring contest with Saiki and I didn't want to start another one. All I want is a normal life, is that so hard to ask for?

I sigh as I hear footsteps approach us. It was the waitress. We ordered our food and then started talking again. I think the only ones not talking were me and Saiki. Well, that was the case. "Hey, Yamada-san, why'd you transfer to PK academy, if you don't mind me asking?" Teruhashi asked, with fake curiosity.

I glanced at her as everyone turned towards me. "My mom got a new job here, so we moved." I said, simply. It was the truth. That's the only reason why we moved. Everyone hummed and got back to their conversations. Teruhashi did seem kind of ticked off though, oh well.

The waitress came back with our ramen and we all ate. After thirty minutes, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I grabbed it out of my pocket and felt a certain psychic's eyes on me. I gave him a look before opening my phone.

It was my mom.
