THE LAST KEY

HOW IT ALL STARTED (1) : BETRAYED

  About 300 years ago, the dark coven which consisted of the dark witches and wizards dominated the eastern part of the earth, while the light coven which consisted of the light witches and wizards dominated the western parts leaving the vampires and werewolves to dominate the southern and northern parts respectively. This covens  lived happily with humans undisturbed but each of the coven had something special.
The light coven possessed an object called the globe of life which gave them the power of immortality, yes! they lived forever and couldn't die but the amount of power they possessed was in no way comparable to that of the dark coven because the dark coven also possessed their own object called the black box of power which apparently made them so powerful but not powerful enough to escape the clutches of death. They were not immortals because they performed dark magics, blood sacrifices and summoning of demons which eats up their souls making them unable to live long.
The people of the light coven weren't so powerful but they possessed the power of not being able to age nor die while the people of the dark coven possessed great power and no country nor continents on earth could challenge them but they lacked the power of immortality, they were happy and contented with what they had and they all lived happily on earth but things was just about to change.
  When king Ahabia, king of the West died without a son, everyone wanted to have the throne and could go to any cost to do so. Mali, the king's best friend knew he had no chances of ascending his best friend's throne so he travelled all the way to the east to seek help from the dark coven but as it is always said, nothing comes for free. At that time Mali and Aska the queen of the light coven were in love with each other and Abdra, king of the dark coven knew about it and he seized that opportunity to get what he had always wanted.
Abdra had ruled the dark coven for 50 years undisturbed but he wasn't satisfied, he had always wondered why the dark coven could be so powerful but couldn't be immortals, he needed the globe of life because he was old and his soul weary and about to be taken. He told Mali to offer Aska queen of the light coven the black box of power in exchange for the globe of life just for three days and only then would he be able to help Mali become the king of the west which Aska his lover was not powerful enough to do so.
Mali had to convince Aska to do it for the sake of their love which Aska agreed to do just because of her lover. She didn't trust the dark coven because they were evil but she trusted Mali. Mali had convinced her that the king just wanted to save his life and after three days the globe of life would be returned back to her and her people, Mali also told her that she would be very powerful within the space of that three days because she would possess the black box of power. Aska wished she could make her lover king of the west but she wasn't just strong enough to do so since many of the contestants involved had gone to different dark sources for power to ascend the throne.
  On the due day, Queen Aska gave the globe of life to Mali for him to exchange it with King Abdra as agreed. It was been done and the very next day Mali was announced as the new king of the west.
Due to the fact that the light coven never partakes in any sort of dark magic, Queen Aska never touched the black box.
After three days when the black box was to be returned back to king Adra for the globe of life, Mali never showed up. Queen Aska sent many messengers to him but still he never showed up.
Queen Aska in rage went to where she had told Mali to keep the black box with the intentions to take it herself to Mali so he could return it to King Abdra as they had agreed but just then she realized that she had been betrayed.
The black box given to her was a FAKE!!!.
