"Do you like our new school?"

I popped in another skittle while we were eating snacks and watching Fresh Prince

Tupac: "Yeah it's cool, I ain't can't complaining. I mean the teachers was a lil weird actin"

"Yeah I know right, it's like their from a different planet or something. We're the top 5 artist right now and they don't know who we are"

Tupac: "Yeah it is weird...but what about you? You like the school?"
"Uh Yeah I guess, I mean I only know Lamont there and he's a nice person so I guess they cool people"

Grandma: "Aaliyah? Hello?"

"Granny!"
I jumped and hugged her tightly to were air couldn't be breathed in. It's not often I see her because she lives in Missouri but she pays the bill for this house.

Grandma: "Hey grandbaby, oh- who is this handsome young man?"
"Oh granny this is Tupac, he's my boyfriend"

He got up and they gave each other a hug greeting one another, smiling

"We both go to the same high school, they figured since he's basically the only person I got besides you and he lives with me we should have the same classes and everything"

Grandma: "Mhmmmm, alrighty well Tupac? You just take care of my grandbaby, she's my favorite"

We all laughed as she held his hands and looked in his eyes meaning she was serious, and was having a heart to heart with him

Grandma: "I see through you and I see a gentle, genuine soul baby. I don't see anything bad or haunting about you which means, that I can trust you. I know my baby can be hardheaded and not listen but just be patient. She'll come around I promise you that, son"

Tupac: "You have my word ma'am, your granddaughter is the best person I have ever met. She has healed be mentally, physically and emotionally. I will never let something happen to her. Because I love her"

I started crying a little bit while they hugged again and she left.

"I gotta pee"

TUPACS POV

I started calling over Hakeem and Ice Cube they were on the way over

"Aaliyah you alright up there?"

No answer.
I walked upstairs and knocked on the door, leaning in to hear something

"Aaliyah? Babygirl you okay?"

Still no answer. I opened the door and saw her on the floor, knocked out. Snoring and everything like she was taking a nap after a long ass day at school.

"Aaliyah, get up. Wake up"
Aaliyah: "Whatttt"

"Your literally sleeping in the middle of the bathroom floor"
I picked her up and put her on the toilet

"What happened?"
Aaliyah: "I-I don't know, I was washing my hands then I guess I just blacked out or something"

"Okay well Hakeem and Ice Cube will be here any second so let's go"
I picked her up again bridal style, then carried her downstairs and laid her on the couch

~KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK~

I opened the door, saw Cube and Hakeem

Hakeem: "What's up familia"
We dapped each other up

Hakeem: "Aye, what's up with Aaliyah?"
"Man I don't know she just kinda blacked out on the bathroom floor or somethin like that happened"

Hakeem: "Damn, Aaliyah your alright?"
She mumbled words in stress then turned over

Cube sat down started eating the corner store snacks

Hakeem: "Yo, lemme see sum real quick"
He walked over to Aaliyah then checked her pulse and did a couple tests on her

"Nigga is you throwin up gang signs?"
Hakeem: "Nah brotha I'm crippled"

Ice Cube: "Damn, double homicide"

Hakeem: "Ight so yeah she passed out or "blacked out" is because of stress. Her brain needs a break and a minute to rebuild itself to come back stronger"

"Ohhhhhh, Ight Ight I feel you thanks G"
We dapped each other up

Ice Cube: "Y'all some funny ass niggas"
Hakeem: "Ohhh oh I see whatchu doin, you feelin salty, just like ya sista on Sunday"

"DAMN.."
Ice Cube: "W-why you gotta go there why you gotta go there"
Hakeem: "Because I can home boy, now stop tryin me"

"Alright y'all stop all that arguing in front of my girl, chill with that"

Hakeem: "Man I feel like being black is a job and we should get paid, we gotta put lotion on, racism still out here and shit like maneeee"

"Nigga go to sleep you sound drunk as hell"

AALIYAHS POV

In walked Shamari and Teddy arguing with each other about something as petty as a dog "having a perm"

Hakeem: "Shamari? That's you? Damn girl you lookin....good you look good"

Shamari: "Mhm yeah it's me"

I sat up confused then everyone started yelling and screaming at each other which was starting to give me a migraine

"SHUT THE HELL UP GOT DAMMIT!"

They all shut up and looked down in disappointment

Tupac: "Wait wait wait how the hell do you know Shamari?"

Hakeem pulled him to the side and whispered in his ear on the low like I couldn't hear him

Hakeem: "Nigga ion know shit, I was just trynna get my mack on"

"Teddy and Shamari what the fuck were you two thinking? What are y'all even arguing about? Who to change that broke down ass radio?"
Hakeem: "Oh man it's gettin hot, damn the street lights on I gotta go home"

He ran out the door and into the distance

"I tired of all of y'all, every.single.one.of y'all. I mean I thought we was all seeing eye to eye, now we cross eyed, lookin like Boo Boo the Fool"

Tupac: "Hell nawl, because I'm not doin this again. Listen Aaliyah everything ain't about you. Everyone has their own problems and it doesn't have to do with you, I mean damn."

Teddy: "Oh shit..."
