IF YOU'RE READING THEN THANK YOU!

This is a note that I am unsure of how to start so I will start in the best way I can think to. To you, I offer my most sincere thank you. For anyone who has supported this book through reading, voting and commenting, please know that it truly means more that I can tell you and I have appreciated it (and always will) every step of the way.

FINAL THOUGHTS

My process with this book was unlike any of the others I have written. There was no plan for this story going in and I did not expect it to be what it is today. Typically, I plan for my stories, even with my brief outlines, but, as an amateur writer, I wanted to try something that more experimental. Consequently, only the later chapters of the story had plans. This is a format that I will stray away from in the future as I feel this book has plenty of issues, mostly related to storytelling and characterization (my concerns are mainly with Archie and Finn).

However, I am not sure just how flawed it is. Writing this book was intensely difficult for me. With my other stories, I was able to update consistently from start to finish. This one, on the other hand, was subject to a two month hiatus because of my exams. I believe I was already struggling and this certainly did not help me maintain my rhythm or improve my consistency. Additionally, I think my struggles with perfectionism reached a peak with this story, which is ironic in the way perfectionism is, because I think it is far from perfect.

A lot of the time, when I think about this book, my head feels foggy and I feel that I am unable to make true sense of things. I'm not sure why this is exactly, but I mostly put it down to my lack of planning (as previously mentioned).

Regardless, I do not want to bore anyone still reading with my woes about the way I chose to write this story. There are elements that I am still happy with and sections that I feel I did my best with, given a struggling mental state and the different circumstances.

So, I will not go on with that anymore. Please do not think this is a plea for compliments or assurance! Sharing my thoughts of my writing with the wonderful people who read my work is just something that soothes my anxieties.

As always, I am open to any feedback and constructive criticism! I would love to hear areas that you think could be improved and would love to hear your honest feelings about this book. If you agree or disagree with anything I have said, I would love to know! All I ask is that you are not hateful! Thank you :')

THANK YOU

On that note, I will thank you again for your support! I wish I could find the words to tell you truly how appreciative I am. I worry that I begin to sound repetitive, but I would much rather be repetitive than ungrateful! Knowing that people care enough about my work to vote on the chapters and leave such wonderful comments truly means the whole world to me.

I am especially lucky to have such kind and funny people supporting me, so I will thank you not just for reading but also for brightening my spirits, especially on those more difficult days. Hearing your thoughts and seeing people engage with my work will always motivate me to keep writing. If I ever find the words to fully communicate the extent of my gratitude, I will be sure to let you know :') <3
