Moving on...

They always say to 'move on',
But what does that even mean ?
Is it a way to give up ?
Give up everything you worked hard to get ?
Give up your dreams, hopes, goals ?

We all know you tried so hard to get to this point.
Is it really worth it to just drop everything now ?
Don't you want to try ?

Try a little bit more,
Maybe you're close to this goal,
Maybe tomorrow you would have achieved this.
Or maybe if you had stayed on this way,
It would have ended up worse than this ?
Than this situation you're stuck in since who knows when.

You don't even know anymore why you're here, do you ?
Why you're here with all of us and not upstairs with them.
Maybe you could join them later, in the evening,
But, please, stay with us a little bit more.
We enjoy having you around, you know buddy.
Anyways, come with us !

Okay so I was watching an episode of Good Doctor and Shaun was struggling with the fact of moving on, so it inspired me for the beginning of this one.

Again, I'm sorry for my english. If there are any grammar or idk-what mistakes, feel free to let me know :)

I kind of struggled to choose a title for this because it starts with the concept of moving on but it's not focused on that after so I was not sure if I would go with that or not.
