Peter swung his sword in an upwards arc, cutting through more of the flesh tentacles. He wasn't given much time to rest as many more shot out, all of them aimed at him.

"Hero Breathing, Spider Form 7: Spinning a Cut." Peter spun in the air in repeating circles, creating a tornado of death that shredded the tentacles into bits.

"This isn't working." Peter thought as he tied a bunch of tentacles together with his webs, before cutting.

"Tanjiro and I can't protect all of these passengers and search for a way to kill this demon at the same time. We need backup."

Peter could hear thunder in the distance, which made him assume that Zenitsu was also awake.

Peter rushed into another carriage and saw that the tentacles were starting to wrap themselves around the passengers. Spidey took in a deep breath, exhaled, and rushed forward.

In under half a minute, Peter managed to chop through every flesh tentacle, leaving behind only a red and blue blur.

Peter took a moment to catch his breath. Constantly rushing from carriage to carriage was becoming exhausting.

"That was rather impressive!" a booming voice sounded behind him.

Spider-man spun around and was surprised to see Rengoku at the entrance of the cart.

"I have never seen a breathing style like yours. What's it called?"

Peter, unsure of what to do, answered, "Hero Breathing. Spider Form to be more specific."

Rengoku hummed, that unsettling grin never leaving his face, "Hero Breathing? I heard it's quite powerful, but also very rare. May I ask who thought it to you?"

"Captain Steve Rogers, sir." Peter stuttered.

Rengoku hummed in thought for a moment before letting out a laugh, "Yes I heard of him! He is a proud warrior. You are lucky to have been trained by a legend such as himself!"

Peter was kinda off put by the positivity radiating off Rengoku. It was, more intense than what he was used to.

"May I ask another question?"

"You just did, and we probably should focus on the demon train, but sure I guess."

"Why do you wear that mask? Just out of curiosity."

"Oh." Spidey wasn't expecting him to ask about the mask.

"It's to protect my identity. Separate the person from the slayer."

This confused Rengoku. With an arched brow, he asked, "Why? None of the official Demon Slayers wear a disguise."

Peter shrugged and ran past Rengoku into the cart he was just in where the tentacles had recovered.

Rengoku shrugged, unsheathed his burning blade, and got to work.

'Stupid Demon Slayers' Enmu thought to himself, 'Scurrying around inside me. You can cut all you want, but I'll just keep regenerating. And then, after all, your strength is repeated, I'm going to partake of those 200 passengers in a leisurely feast.'

Peter moved from cart to cart like a red and blue blur. Scorch marks covered the slimy mess on the walls. Whatever Rengoku had done had been extremely effective. There were barely any tentacles left for him to cut.

That was when picked up on a conversation a few carts up front. It was Tanjiro and Inosuke. They had found the demon's weak spot. As much as Peter wished to stay and protect the passengers, he knew that the head would be well protected.
