"see! today was a good day, we got to see some great butterflies, they were amazing, dontcha think?" tommy beamed at the taller man. wilbur shrugged. he couldn't deny the fact that it was a good day. but it was just one day. out of millions, his entire life.

"sure tommy, it was good" wilbur smiled. tommy grinned at that response and nodded.

"get some sleep wilbur, i'll meet you again tomorrow, i know a perfect day for tomorrow." tommy grinned micheviously. wilbur raised an eyebrow at the teen boy.

"don't you have school tomorrow?" wilbur questioned the blonde. tommy immediately cringed as he hesitated to tell wilbur the truth.

"well...let's say i got expelled, not exactly allowed at school anymore" tommy laughed nervously. wilbur was very amused at this as he bellowed.

"of course you did, tom" wilbur grinned. tommy gagged at the name and shook his head.

"alright, i'll see you wilby" tommy said, accent heavy. he waved goodbye as he walked further away from wilbur's home.

wilbur shook his head amused at the young boy's antics.

wilbur woke up to loud knocking on his door, as he walked towards the door he realized that his young friend had came to fetch him.

"wilbur! you have got to wake up, hurry you wanker!" tommy yelled out enthusiastically. wilbur groaned as he opened the door to a losing tommy, grinning widely.

"aw man, you're not even ready. that's quite alright ill wait" tommy beamed as he pushed his way into wilbur's home. wilbur, dumbfounded didn't know what to do but just let the blonde teen stay.

"okay...just give me like ten minutes" wilbur hesitantly told the boy, as he curiously looked around the house.

"your place is a shit hole" tommy simply stated, wilbur was mildly offended by this. he scoffed as he looked at the boy, and proceeded to head back to his room.

what is he? he's some crazy little person that won't stop following me around!

wilbur quickly finished getting ready as he seen the young boy bouncing off the couches in his living room.

"finally! you're ready, now let's go!!" tommy urged at the older man. wilbur groaned as he didn't want to spend another day with this bullshit.

as they both left wilbur's home, tommy skipped along, waving at people again, who just seemed to ignore him.

"okay, wilby im going to give you reason number two, of why you shouldn't kill yourself!!" tommy exclaimed excitedly. wilbur rolled his eyes playfully as he nodded.

tommy looked back at wilbur as he grinned. he dragged him across town, and stopped them at an amusement park.

"reason number two: colors." tommy grinned. wilbur looked at him like he was an odd person.

"colors?" wilbur questioned. tommy grinned as if he knew wilbur was going to say that.

"wilbur, you may not realize it, because your mental health is literal shit, but the world is colorful! everything has color! the sky is blue, popcorn is yellow! butterflies could be any color, pink, purple, orange name it! my socks are rainbow! everything has color, sometimes we can't look at the world in such a dull aspect, there's so much to look at, and colors play such a huge aspect in it!" tommy ranted excitedly. wilbur felt a smiled tug at his lips, as it dawned on him that tommy was right. everything did have color.

tommy dragged the taller brunette into the amusement park, assuring him he didn't need to pay any entree fees. the amusement park was very colorful. and wilbur loved it. there was red everywhere, and orange, and yellow, and green, and every single color you could possibly think of!

the world was just popping around wilbur and tommy. somehow the world seemed so much brighter.

"see wilbur? when you let yourself see the world in a good aspect, it becomes much more brighter, and colorful!" tommy beamed at the taller man.

they had just gone on an abundance of rides, and enjoyed their day even more so. wilbur had bought tommy a cotton candy, but he denied it.

"i can't eat cotton candy, makes my stomache too sick." tommy gagged at the taller man, wilbur shrugged as he gleefully ate the hot pink cotton candy.

the sun had already set and the colors, and the beaming lights seemed to be so much more brighter than anything.

"wilbur, let's go on one more ride" tommy smiled softly at the taller man. wilbur grinned as he nodded at the teen and followed him. the blonde boy had led them both to the large ferris wheel.

"riding the ferris wheel at night is the best feeling in the world, you should go on there!" tommy beamed at the brunette. wilbur grinned as he nodded at the boy.

wilbur started walking towards the ride, as he didn't hear the blonde boy's shuffles beside him.

"aren't you going to come?" wilbur asked as he stopped in his tracks to see that tommy wasn't following him.

"err...sure! why not" tommy smiled slightly as he hesitantly followed the taller man. wilbur decided to take note mentally to ask if the younger boy was alright.

they went up to the vendor to gain access into the ferris wheel and hopped into a car, as the door closed behind them.

both males sat in a comfortable silence as they felt themselves getting higher and higher. soon they came to a halt, and seen the world below them. wilbur smiled as he looked down at all the people watching and pointing at the stars, he seen all the bursting lights and beautiful boisterous songs, blaring on the amusement park's speakers.

he also saw tommy. he seen that tommy was mesmerized, in awe of everything in front of him. this was new to wilbur, he never seen tommy i this state.

a tear then rolled down tommy's face, as he smiled heartily.

"wilbur, it's fucking beautiful" tommy laughed, as he saluted out to the people below them. tears were bursting out more from the younger boy's eyes. they kept streaming down from his bottom eyelid all the way down to his chin, dragging along his cheeks. but through all that he was smiling, a large, genuine smile.

wilbur smiled as he didn't try to ask tommy if he was alright, not wanting to push any boundaries. wilbur kept looking out at the bursting colors, and he looked at tommy.

tommy was right.

it is fucking beautiful.
