after tommy and wilbur went to the amusement park, they hung out daily after that. tommy had helped wilbur find new meaning to life. it was quite strange that a simple seventeen year old boy, was able to help wilbur, a grown man, love life.

"okay big man, i have a great day planned out for us!" tommy grinned as he pulled wilbur alongside him, locking their arms, skipping along, waving at people who were too busy to even acknowledge him. wilbur had noticed this and wanted to ask the younger boy why he did what he did.

"why do you continue to wave to people if they keep ignoring you?"

"because maybe someone will wave back."

"what does that mean?" wilbur laughed amused, as tommy shrugged.

"wilbur, we're here." tommy announced as he brought them both to an animal shelter. tommy grinned at the confused man and looked back at the store.

"reason number three. animals, they're the best thing to ever exist" tommy grinned. wilbur raised an eyebrow. he shrugged as he looked at the young boy.

"let's go in there, but you'll have to speak to the people, since you're an adult, but we should get you a pet!" tommy exclaimed. wilbur scoffed confused and looked at tommy in bewilderment.

"what? if i can barely take care of myself, i wouldn't be able to take care of a pet!" wilbur whined accordingly, tommy only grinned.

"we're getting you a dog, dogs help a lot. they're a man's best friend!" tommy exclaimed as he pulled the older man towards the entrance. tommy urged at him to open the door. wilbur groaned as he obliged, and open the door to heaven.

cute pets. especially dogs, everywhere.

wilbur felt immense happiness as he seen all the great animals in there, as he looked at tommy with amusement.

both males were greeted by two men who were behind the counter, as they awaited anyone.

they were both brunette and blonde, and seemed to be too focused on whatever they were doing.

"patches! come here, give george some love!!" the blonde man exclaimed as he was crouched behind the counter as the brunette was standing above him.

"dream, leave her alone, she's playing with you already!!" the brunette exclaimed, wilbur assumed to be george.

"uh hello?" wilbur called out, interrupting the two males playing with a small cat who was in a burrito little hoodie. they both jumped as they laughed nervously and looked at the tall man.

"oh hello! welcome to dream's pet shop, how can i help you" the brunette estatically exclaimed, the blonde immediately rolled his eyes jokingly.

"see, not that hard! anyways are you here to look around or to adopt?" the blonde grinned at wilbur, as he looked at their name tags.

george and clay

"who's dream?" wilbur blurted out, curiously. george grinned as he wrapped his arm around the blonde and pointed at the blonde.

"this guy! his name's clay but i call him dream" george smiled, as dream rolled his eyes with a faint blush. wilbur nodded in acknowledgement, as he smiled softly.

"i would like to adopt.." wilbur confidently stated, as he looked at both men eagerly, they both looked at eachother and grinned.

"great! a lot of these pets need homes, but this little kitty cat here," dream started as he picked patches up.

"is mine" dream grinned. george rolled his eyes.

"ours" george blankly corrected, dream shook his head accordingly and nodded.
