~Beach Day - Mitsukou~

A/N - Enjoy a fluffy one-shot where Mitsuba and Kou are already dating
and I add all of my headcanons onto it lol 

"Why are we at the beach?"
"Amane said it would be fun. A break from cleaning the pool afterschool."

"You just wanted to come to see daikon-senpai." Kou rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"Of course not. I'm your boyfriend, aren't I?"
Mitsuba giggled a little bit.

"Well yea, but don't you still think daikon-senpai's cute?"
"Not cuter than you." Mitsuba blushed a little bit, but nonetheless flipped his hair.

"But no one, I repeat no one, is cuter than me." Kou let out a little chuckle.

"You got me there." Mitsuba smiled. "You're really cute when you're smiling..."
The two gazed at each other. They leaned closer. And closer. Their lips almost touched and...

"WHO'S READY TO PLAY BEACH VOLLEYBALL!?"

Amane had seemingly popped out of nowhere, followed by Nene, Akane, Aoi, Yokoo, and Satou.

"U-uh..." Mitsuba froze.
"We are!!" Kou yelled, holding up Mitsuba's hand in his own. They stood up and walked over. Kou didn't let go of the other boy's hand. Mitsuba frowned. "Whassup?" Kou asked. They stopped walking.

"Oh, uh, nothing."
"Mitsuuuu. I've known you for years. What's up?"

Mitsuba sighed. "Just Amane. He kinda... always ruins the moment."

"What do you mean?"

"Like when I told you I liked you? He came in almost immediately after you said you liked me too. Almost heard us. We were eating lunch together a few months ago, and he came and sat down, bringing, like, 20 other people with him."
"Ohhh. Yea. He also brought my brother who, uh, doesn't know about us. Or at least didn't." Mitsuba stared at him.

"Did you tell him? And the rest of your family? Are they supportive?"
Kou nodded. "Of course they are. Kinda have to be since Teru came out as bi as well. Timing worked out pretty well too." Mitsuba smiled.
"That's good to hear."
"What about your mom?"
"She said I can love who I want. She literally doesn't care who I date, as long as they're nice. For a while she did think that daikon-senpai was my girlfriend though." (A/N lol who else has read vol. 15?)

"Was that before..."

"Before I came out as gay, yeah." 

Mitsuba found Kou's hand as they continued walking.

"Do you think they know?" He motioned to everyone ahead of them with his other hand.

"Probably. I'm guessing Yokoo and Satou know, they see us every day passing notes in class. And, like, every day in the hallway holding hands."
"Well yeah. That's pretty obvious." Mitsuba giggled. "I meant everyone else. Senpai, Amane-kun, all of them."

"I don't know, why don't you just ask them? Amane-kun probably knows, seeing as he literally walked over to us when we almost, y'know..." Kou blushed.

"Y-yeah." They two walked in an awkward silence. Kou finally decided that this was the time.

"M-mitsu, you know, since we didn't get to, didn't get to..." Mitsuba stood there, confused.

"Since we didn't get to what?" Mitsuba rolled his eyes. "Don't tell me it's something lewd?" (A/N wow honestly i'm surprised it took me this long to have mitsuba call kou a perv lmao)
"Since we didn't get to... y'know, k-kiss?" Mitsuba's heart started beating through his chest. He turned bright red.

"Y-yea?"
"I t-thought that we could n-now." Mitsuba was too scared to ruin the moment to say anything. Kou leaned down and kissed him. He didn't want the moment to end. He didn't care if Amane-kun, or daikon-senpai, or Akane-kun, or Aoi-san, or whoever saw them. He just cared that right now, he was with the boy he liked. With blonde-yellow hair, beautiful blue eyes, and a lame earring. When they finally pulled away, both the boys were embarrassed. But happy.

"K-kou Minamoto..." Mitsuba paused. "I love you."

Kou smiled. "Well yea, dummy. I love you too."

The two shared another kiss before walking over to the rest of the group.

"Where were you guys? We started playing without you, you took so long."
"Never you mind, Amane-kun." Mitsuba said. Kou beamed at him. Everyone looked very confused.

"Is something going on between you two, orrrrrrr..?"
Mitsuba and Kou looked at each other.

"Yeah, well, about that, uh... everyone? We have something to tell you."
