"Okay! We're here sweetheart" Steve said as he looked over and smiled at you. It was steve and yours first date. He asked you while you were getting ice cream with your friends and you decided to yes for some reason.
Getting out of the car the chill of the night hitting you as the last of the sun sunk beneath the tree line. You could hear the screams and yells of kids and people enjoying the fair. The smell of greasy carnival food and the soft smells that carry on the wind.
"Wow, this is kinda pretty" you laughed as Steve came up beside you.
"I can't believe you've never been here, you've lived here you while life and never went with your parents or friends?" He asked in a surprised voice.
"My parents were always to busy and my friends always went when I was busy or never told me they were going" you signed and followed Steve as he walked through the entrance.
He grabbed your hand. "So what would you like to do first sweetheart?" He questioned.
Looking around at the big scene displayed in-front of you, trying to decide what sounds the best to do first. "Umm how bout the games?"
"Alright let's go!" He exclaimed as he dragged you too a ring toss game.
"I'll go first since I'm a pro at this" he said with a smug face and pointed to himself. He looked down at you and smiled. You never realized the details in his face, though you haven't had time to study it. The way his eye's squinted as you smiled or laughed, or the light scars on his face that can only be seen if caught in the light just the right way. How the way his nose is a bit crooked from the fights. The way is eyes look like melted Carmel with so much emotion. The freckles that spread across his cheeks that got darker the more he was in the sun. His face changed suddenly.
"Hey you okay pretty girl?" He looked concerned and he lightly grabbed your hand pulling you back into reality.
"Y-yea sorry I was just-" you tried to finish but he cut you off "you were staring at me, do I have something on my face?" He asked still with a worried look.
"No, I'm sorry you just looked good. Damn I sound like a creep" you huffed out with a fake laugh.
"No no you don't it's okay." He ran his hand through his hair and turned back to the vender and handed them a few bucks.
"Wow Harrington I thought you said you were good at this?" You laughed at he missed yet another shot.
"Oh shut up I'm just a little nervous" he gulped as he threw a ring finally landing it around the bottle. His face lit up as he jumped up and down yelling.
"Haha okay settle down stevie" you giggled as you put your hand on top of his shoulder. His face turned into a light shade of pink and he smiled down at you.
"Let's go in some rides yeah?" He said as he guided you into the screaming chaos.
You screamed as the ride went up high then dropped quickly, you grabbed Steve's hand and gripped it tightly, your knuckles turning white. Steve grinned widely, the corner of his lashes hitting the top of his cheeks. Soon the ride ended, as you guys got off the fire works started to fly into the air and rain down colorful streaks.
"Cmon let's go to the Ferris wheel" he said, you followed quickly behind him.
His arm around you, your pressed up against his side trying to stay warm, face buried into the crook of his neck.
"Hey, I really like you. Maybe we could do this again" you said as his hand reached up to your chin. Grasping your chin and turning it toward his face. Noses almost touching, you could feel his hot breath hit your lips as he stared back into your eyes. His lips came down on yours, you slowly started kissing back, your hands going to the nape of his neck as his rested at your hips. The fireworks are drowned out as you both melt into each other.
You pull away first to catch your breath. You look up to the boy, his lips swollen and pink as his lips parted to breath heavily.
"That- that was great." You said as you looked into his eyes.
"But umm that was my first kiss" you said quietly. He looked at you with wide eyes, then he went back down to your lips and left a wet kiss.
" and that was your second kiss " he said in a smug voice as he wrapped you into his arms "n yea we'll definitely be doing this again sweet heart"
