When Killer woke up, he didn't do anything other than listen. His sockets remained closed, he didn't move an inch from his spot, and he didn't dare even think about making a sound. Just listen.

Listening was always the first thing he did when he woke up. It was calming to him. He could hear the shuffling in the house downstairs-probably the 'Master Chef Papyrus' making some sort of breakfast-and some noises outside. Those were the normal sounds, but his favorite sound was right below him.

The soft, gentle thumping right beneath his skull. It was steady, a perfect rhythm. His breathing matched with the beating of the heart beat, or he guess it would be SOULbeat for the skeleton it belonged to. It was his favorite thing to wake up to every morning.

He relaxed, not noticing his tension from waking up. He always had a habit of tensing up when awake, unable to get used to the more (ironically) calmer setting here than in Nightmare's castle. Underfell was the perfect place for Killer. It was chaotic, tense even sometimes, but it was perfect for him to feel comfortable in. Not too calm to make him uncomfortable, not like the castle he remembers staying in for so many years. Just the perfect amount of both, like warm (spicy, even) cookies fresh from the oven twenty-four seven, here.

"I know you're awake cutie," Killer slowly opened his right eye socket, his white pupil looking at the skeleton he had been holding onto all night long. "G'mornin'." The tired skeleton looked at him, smiling groggily and moving his hand from Killer's back to his side.

"Morning," Killer yawned a little and closed his eye socket again. He buried his face back into Fell's chest and exhaled. He was so comfortable where he was, he didn't want to move. He could actually relax and not have to worry about orders being barked at him immediately. "I'm sleeby."

Fell chuckled and rubbed Killer's back. "Sleeby? You like saying it that way don't you?" He asked affectionately, tiredly. He watched Killer very carefully, though so very comfortingly. It wasn't a glare, or the side eye, it was gentle admiration in his eyes.

"It sounds funnier! And just feels right to say it like that. Sleepy sounds boring, sleeby sounds better." Killer spoke into Fell's chest, focusing on the beating of his SOUL.

Fell chuckled again and leaned down a bit to give Killer's head a little peck, even with the lack of lips. It made Killer hum in satisfaction, smiling a little more and lifting his head a bit to look at his boyfriend.

Fell's eyes were white pupils at the moment, relaxed and calm with Killer. It was unusual for anyone else to see this side of the two.

Fell, the usually temperamental and 'rough-around-the-edges' type of monster, is not the type you would imagine snuggling up to someone with his arms around someone else-especially so carefully. Hardly any monster could imagine this, at least, except for the few monsters that had befriended him.

Killer, the more 'sinister' of the two, always had people looking left and right when around. Always with a smile, an intimidating one to most, with an unsettling aura of uncomfortable unidentifiable emotions and feelings. People of Underfell only challenged the skeleton to see if the rumors were true about the suspicious yet interesting stranger that showed up out of no where one day. No one could ever expect to imagine him clinging to someone like a koala with a whine of protest to ket said person go.
