     Alas, the monsters were free. After decades of fighting for life, decades of suffering and grasping for survival, they were free. The monsters began to breathe in the fresh air. No more dust polluted air, no more dusky odors or the sounds of still caves. The monsters were free.

     You grew slightly nervous, scratching your chin slightly watching two of the monster children immediately catch a mountain goat not too far from the entrance. The other monsters who noticed ran over to have their share. To which, in your anxiety, you thought about how to explain to these monsters about human society here.

     You looked to your other side to see Horror, looking up with hope and amazement at the beautiful colors of the sky. Pink, orange, blue, and purple. You watched as he raised his arm up slightly to try and catch a leaf. It brushed against his fingers and disappeared behind him, his eye following in amazement.

     You let out a breath, relaxing slightly. Undyne had disappeared after your battle with her. The monsters no longer had to worry about going hungry. It would take some time for them to recover from their habits Undyne had caused, though you were sure it would work with some one-on-one. They would just need some moderation for the first year or so.

     "Mm.." you looked back at Horror, who leaned down slightly. "What do.. we do now?" He asked, his red eye gazing at you in hunger. You smiled at him and patted his cheek gently, making him look at you in confusion.

     "Now we have to figure out a way to make sure everyone behaves-" you said in a half jokingly tone. Horror looked over to the group and hummed. He then looked back at you. "Why are you looking at me that way?"

     "You saved.. us.." he said. "Undyne is gone.. they will listen.. to you.."

     You blinked then looked at the group. "Me?" Looking back at Horror, he smiled and chuckled slightly at your reaction. "Do you think so? They deserve to be their own people, they don't need a ruler!"

     "You.. are human.." he tilted his head slightly. "This is.. your world and.. home.. someone needs to.." He looked over to his brother in the distance, watching the tall skeleton get excited over the stars that continued to rise into the sky.

     You sighed heavily and crossed your arms, frowning. "I guess you're right.." you agreed, following Horror's gaze. "We have a lot of work to do."

     "Smells suspicious.." Horror huffed, glaring at the food as if it had betrayed him. He pushed the food away and crossed his arms. He was such a child sometimes.

     "Horror," you sighed, letting your arms fall down with kitchen utensils in hand. "Please eat, I thought you loved my cooking?" You pulled the plate back towards Horror, urging him to eat his dinner. He growled at it and hit the plate full of food down the middle, a large shattering sound echoing through the kitchen.
