When we last left our heroes, they had gotten off of a lovely cruise ship known as the S.S. Anne and spent some quality time together. At the same time, Lune claimed two more badges and is one the way to another! The road ahead is still long and the three trainers he met before have a lead over him. Will he be able to catch up?

Backtracking towards Cerulean City, Lune and Cassie head eastward to Route 9. Getting some more training for Yellow-Jacket, Screwball and Anne along the way, they come across a body of water that stretches further past Route 10. Curiosity getting the better of them, they decide to explore. Hitching a ride on Xrimson's back, they venture down the river and stumble across the Kanto Power Plant.

Lune: Well this looks interesting.
Cassie: Are you sure this is a good idea? Lt. Surge said that the other three were ahead of you.
Lune: True. However, it's the end result that matters. If they get to the champion's seat before I do, then I'll just have to beat them.
Cassie: Ever the optimist.
Before the two trainers head inside, one of Lune's Poke Balls starts to shake, namely Fulgora's. Lune decides to let her out and see what's up. Once she's out of her ball she's seen staring at the Power Plant with glee. All that electricity, waiting to be consumed!
Lune: Fulgora, I know you're excited to be in the Power Plant, but you have to promise me you won't go crazy in there. People need this electricity to thrive, so being greedy won't do anyone any favors, ok young lady?
Fulgora gives a very rapid nod in response.
Lune: Alright then, let's head inside.
Making their way through the building, Fulgora helps herself to wayward sparks, and the electric attacks of the wild pokemon inside. Meanwhile, Lune and Cassie help themselves to wayward items along the floor. Hey, if they're just lying around may as well right? It all came to a head when they reached the back of the Plant and found a large generator, a soft hum reverberating in the room. However, the electricity from the generator started to amp up and sparks were flying everywhere! Soon there was a loud crack of thunder and a bright flash of light, causing our heroes to shield their eyes. When they could see again, they found themselves looking at a rather impressive looking pokemon!
