Eddie's pov
Eve is really mine. She looks absolutely adorable today. Something about it just screams little. She turns to me as we park "I think I'm gonna quit cheer today" nibbling on her lip. I smile "good for you. I hate that you've been cheering and hating it. You should do what makes you happy Eve" getting out and I go to her side ignoring the stares as always as I help her out the van and ask "do you want me to go with you?" Feeling how clammy her hand is and the slight shake. I kiss it and she nods "please?"

I nod and she leads me to the gym and I ignore the stares and I tell her gently "you got this" as she looks at the coach. She nods and I stand and watch her go over and talk to her and she hands in her uniform and the coach seemingly isn't happy. "Huddle around!" what? The cheerleaders do it and she says "seems here that miss Genevieve here thinks she's too good to be on our squad" "t-that's not why" she stutters. The coach continues "she just quit and no we're one person down! Right before our first game and now we need to rework our routine" all the girls spit harsh words at her and I can see her distress. She's afraid of letting people down and they're making the fact that she was strong enough to quit worse on her. I make my way to her and pull her to me and glare at all of them "she's quitting because she hates it and most of if not all of you. You have no right to make her feel bad for quitting the thing that makes her miserable. You all, make her miserable. Coach you're supposed to be an educator and love what you do and treat kids kindly and be understanding and you failed at both! You should be ashamed of yourself! All of you" I snap pulling her out of the gym. She hugs me to her and I coo "it's alright baby. You're alright. You did the right thing by quitting. You did so good" making her look at me and she wipes her eyes "crying about it is silly to you I bet" I stop her "not at all, princess. You faced a fear today and I'm proud that you did. Now you are free to find out what you want to do that you love 100%." Stroking her tears. Billy comes over "you alright Gen?" She nods with a smile "yeah" "I can kick their ass if you need me to just say the word" he says and she chuckles "no Need Billy" they hug and he goes on his way.

I give her a questioning look. I don't think I've seen Billy actually be nice to someone like that before. She tells me "he's been a good friend of mine for a bit now eddie." I nod and kiss her softly and then lead her to her locker and say "got any plans?" "No" she says with a smile. "Good. You're all mine then" she nods and she asks "don't you have to go to your locker" shit. She giggles as I kiss her quickly "I will see you later princess" rushing off to my locker and then my class which I'm sat with Chrissy for. Fun.
