It was peaceful until her little worm appeared again. She didn’t know nor care when the last time her worm came with other intentions than to interrogate her about what happened that day. This place became a mess after their countless fights after they lost their temper. The only place that stayed almost untouched was a small portion of the forest, just thick enough to hide the waterfall where she was currently resting with her human quickly approaching.
Attacks at her worm's mind also stopped some time ago. Maybe it was because of this fancy chain that was now holding her hostage and powerless while her worm stood behind her, gun pointed at her head.</p>
“Came to kill me, human scum?”
“Why did you do it? Why did you decide to reveal your existence just then and cause havoc.”
“Does it really matter?”
“You killed innocent civilians! Of course it matters!”
It kind of stung that she still ignored the amount of honkai she destroyed or that it was a number in barely tenths compared to the millions in the past.
First thing she felt after the human came this time was a chain that blocked all of her powers. She couldn’t get away from this situation, her worm wanted answers and she finally decided to use force. How typical for her race, when something doesn’t go your way, use force.
“I also killed honkai beasts if you didn’t notice, those scums just got in the way. Some of them went as far as aiming their weapon at me.”
“Why did you even take control? Why then and not before.”
“You didn’t drag me back to Siberia before, worm.”
It seemed like Kiana started thinking, Sirin was right. She didn’t have a mission in Siberia before that. She saw the Herrscher obliterate the Babylon tower too. Sirin didn’t hurt her friends either despite them being valkyries, only threaten them.
Still didn’t help the trouble and explained what she had to go through after they came back.
“Are you done pointing that toy at me, worm?
Nothing… Sirin tugged on the chain, but still didn’t get a reaction.
“Hey!” She pulled the chain hard enough to make her worm stumble and fall on her back.
“Are you listening to me, worm? Stop pointing your toys at me, they kill people.”
She didn’t bother with pushing the worm off her as it was the first time in some time that it wasn’t a punch from when they lost their temper. She felt her worm quickly pull away after realising.
“I’m sorry! What were you saying?”
“Hmph. Thinking that I’ll repeat myself, worm?” She went back to her snarky personality in an instant after her worm’s warmth left her.
“Release me… It feels suffocating to be this powerless.” She once again tugged on the chain that blocked her powers, there also was hidden need behind that action.
“I don’t trust you to not do it again. Theresa instructed me to use it to keep you under control. No one can be sure that you won’t take over again, this time to attack humanity with plans to end the current era.” Kiana was truthful about this. She held a certain fear that Sirin would take over, but not really to destroy humanity, but that they would kill the Herrscher who now seemed so much different from when they first interacted.
“Did you taking over have something to do with Otto and the experiments?”
She hit the spot when Sirin flinched, she now held no power to protect herself just like back then and it made her worm so much more scary.
