Extra: Spooky's Perspective

So... Hi! My name is Spooky. I found this...umm...journel on the ground, and it looks like someone was already writing on it. And honestly, it's all so boring! So I, Spooky, thought I could spice it up a bit with my perspective on things. Nobody has made it out here alive... They either got caught by one of my specimens or made it to the end, only to die tragically! It's amazing. I tell you, amazing! Well... I also died tragically... That's the only way to become a ghost, after all! I am burning his journal, by the way. Nobody deserves to read even a word of it.

I was doing my usual stuff, setting up the Specimen 1 cardboard when I heard the door creak open! It revealed some nerdy guy who didn't believe in any myths or legends - I'm not too sure. I did my usual greeting. He looked at me with some offended look as I floated off through the ceiling.

Now, I usually prepare surprises if they make it, surprises that'll surprise them so much that they'll drop dead! These surprises take TIME, though. I have to be fast so they don't come in while I am planning and setting it all up. Oh! I also let my first five specimens know that he was coming. Perfect! Only the true and experienced can make it to room 250! Besides, if they use the code to skip to it, you aren't true and experienced if you do that.

After waiting ages for him to show up, I assumed he probably died! This put a smile to my ghostly face! The horror that greeted me was chilling, however. The stupid living soul appeared before my special room! He looked at me and said:

"When is your perspective going to come out? It's been years."

"I have my perspective in this box." I told him, "open it, and you will see my perspective."

I floated away but stayed close, I wanted to witness him experiencing a heart attack from my surprise gift. All I witnessed was the sound of him opening the next door. Are you serious? Like, any regular person would experience a heart attack from that! Well, I guess the child that came in here earlier didn't. The romantic guy didn't. The guy with the camera didn't... Why does it never work?

Waiting at room 500 got too boring. I mean, it seems like he takes months or even years to reach the next checkpoint. So what I did instead was spook new visitors to the mansion. Can you believe they died to my second specimen? How pathetic! By the way, this "Oakley" is going to die because of the cat I hired. He is never making it through there.

He made it through there. I had to quickly make my way to room 500 to check on my trick door to see if it would work - it does. I quickly got into position. The moment I heard that door open, I knew what had to be said.

"I fixed the next door for you. Also, do not copy and paste again, that's plagiarism."

"Thank you Spooky, you are so kind to fix the next door for me. But why would I copy and paste again? That's so weird to bring up now."

"Just... Just go."

As I left, I forgot I put something there that I forgot to remove...

"End of mansion? What is this, an early april fools joke? I should steal this joke for my own journal."

I put a sign like that there. I thought it would be funny, but it wasn't funny. It was...disappointing. All he did was just open the door behind that sign I put and continued to progress...lame. What wasn't lame is that he now has to start from room 53! Maybe he'll fall for my room 250 trick this time! How gullible of him! How stupid of him! How does he know which door he's on? Normal people would lose track by now. How does he know he's on door 53? This guy is...weird.
