That same night you couldn't take your mind off Kenma. You knew that you already moved on ever since you graduated but.. did that change so soon?
Even if you did like Kenma once again, will he?

And the day started to go by slowly.. You decided to approach Kenma at lunch. "Hey, Kenma." You say, your hands behind your back. You looked like a high school student trying to ask their crush to prom. "Oh, you. Hey?" He says, a resting bitch expression on his face. "Wait, isn't she the girl who confessed to you in high school, Kenma?" Kuroo whispered in his ear. Kenma nodded, looking back at you and inspecting you from head to toe.
"Can I sit with you? Is that what you're going to ask?" Kenma raises a brow. That wasn't actually what you were going to do. But still, it was an opportunity. You sat down with them, forgetting your lunch.
And that's where Kenma started to change his personality in front of you. "Um, can I be friends with you, Kenma?" You awkwardly smile, cocking your head to the side. "Um, sure. I mean we already met, why ask?"
That response made your heart skip a beat. "Oh, really?" You say, scooting away a few inches. "Yeah."
And then, the bell rang. It was already getting to the good part! You thought. You say goodbye to the pair, exiting the cafeteria.
You smiled at yourself, but whispering started to erupt as you walked the halls.
Isn't she the girl sitting with Kenma and Kuroo-san?
Is she his girlfriend?
Nah, she's not worth it for Kenma.
Talk about a flirty girl..
Scowls filled the room, and all eyes were on you. And it hit you; Kenma was an unexpected hotshot. Kuroo as well. You shivered as you entered your next class.

After school, you decided not to take the alleyway and took the long road. "Hey! You going home? Wanna walk with me?" Kenma offered, you refused. Not wanting any more commotion added to your name.
One thing Kenma was great at was being stubborn. He caught up to you and held your hand again. "The alleyway is this way." He smiles. "No, I'm not taking the alleyway tonight." You whisper, signaling Kenma that there's creepy weirdos lurking in there.
And once again, he handled it himself.
The next day at school, Kenma was particularly... different.
Every time you try to talk to him, he walks away or tries to avoid your gaze. And when you were pushing his limits.. "Can you leave me alone?" He says in the most calmest but rudest way possible.
It didn't hurt you at first but he slowly started to not notice you everyday. Akasuki on the other hand was gushing over a guy named Keiji Akaashi in a different building. Walking with Akasuki was much more safer to your heart because you didn't have that pounding and awkward feeling when she's around.
And those creepy dudes didn't lurk in the alleyway because of Akasuki's loud persona. Of course, it was on purpose.
While wandering around the school on lunch break, you discovered a small garden, a fountain with fresh water and a huge tree that can give shade. It was so.. ethereal.
"Meow~" You hear.
You look around frantically and soon glance upon a cat. It's fur white as snow, eyes blue like the sky.
"Mreow!" Another one. You look behind you to see a black cat with gold eyes. It was.. expressive. You could see a scowl on it's face as it approached the white cat.
"Awe, are you jealous?" You chuckled. Stroking it's luscious, soft fur. Come to think of it, they all look like they are always groomed..
"Me..ow." Before you could even look around, a Calico cat with piercing gold eyes jumped onto you. It purred, pushing his head onto you. A visible smile on it's face.
You lift the calico cat, seeing that it was a boy. Adorable!
You did the same with the two others and they are all boys! A trio huh?
The bell rang and they all scattered behind the huge tree. You chuckled softly. "It's okay, little ones. But.. I do have to go." You say, frowning.
While leaving, you hear the cats meow. Not looking back, you thought that they were calling for you.
You thought.
