"You okay? You don't look so good, Aka." Kuroo asks her.  "I'm.. fine." She replies. "Lie down." Kuroo suggests.

Akasuki listened to him, lying down on the couch. "What's wrong?" Kuroo asks again, giving her a friendly kiss on the forehead. "My.. stomach really hurts." She complains, clenching her stomach.

"What did you eat?"
"I have cramps, Kuroo."
"Oh."

Kuroo thought for a second before heading to the store. "I'll be right back, okay? Stay there."

"Huh-?"

Before Akasuki could ask whatever the hell Kuroo is going to do— he already left. Akasuki groaned, tossing and turning on the couch before standing up to the bathroom to grab a pad.

She went back to the couch to lie down and scroll on her phone. The door creaks open, Kuroo entering the house.

"Back." He smiles, approaching Akasuki with a bag full of pads, chocolate and honey chicken.

"What's that?" She asks, sitting up. "Some stuff for your period."

"How much is the total cost?"
"You don't need to know." Kuroo cheekily smiles, handing the bag to Akasuki.

"What?! No! How much is it?" Kuroo ignored the question and just gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Akasuki sighed, accepting the heartfelt gift. Being used to this kind of relationship with Kuroo was a bit.. weird to her.

Ever since the two of them talked about that night and cleared up the misunderstandings, they have been acting like a couple.

No label.

Unofficial.

No feelings?

It seems that she was developing romantic feelings for Kuroo ever since they did that dare. However, after observing Kuroo from afar, she sees that Kuroo looks much more comfortable with being himself when she's not in the picture.

Akasuki was the type to always overthink. It has always been that way for each and every relationship she had. And all those thoughts became reality. And she knew well that her thoughts right now wouldn't be any different.

She unwrapped the chocolate bar and started to eat it. Head filled with overflowing negative thoughts.

Akasuki went through a lot of failed relationship and fake sincerity when it comes to love. But she never gave up.

..No wonder she's staying with Kuroo for a few days.

Akasuki snapped out of her trance when she heard Kuroo's phone ring.

Kuroo picked it up. His face lighting up when he saw the caller ID. And suddenly, it shot like an arrow through Akasuki's chest.

That's got to hurt.

...

"Right now? Is she gonna come too?"

Yeah dude, come on. It's just for today.

"I don't know.."

Come on! It'll be fun.

"Oh fine! I'll be there by four."

Great! See you there, Kuroo.

"See you, Bokuto!"

Kuroo hung up the phone and checked the time: 1PM.

Kuroo broke the news to Akasuki nervously. "You didn't need to tell me, just leave without warning." She replies. A bit of sarcasm in her tone.

"You sure you're gonna be fine?"
"Yeah.."

"Sure?"
Akasuki hummed, lying down on the couch and turning her back to Kuroo. "Call me if you need-"

"I will, I will." Akasuki replied groggily. She sounded annoyed, jealous. And she was. Kuroo leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek before going upstairs to take a shower.

..Fuck.
