Out In The Town

                  Sitting on her bed Kamilah is just watching Rex, going back and forth from her closet "ok cutie how about this?" "too sexy" "exactly". Rolling her eyes Kamilah chuckles "Uncle Rex why are you such a perv?", taking out a black turtle neck ankle length fitting dress, Rex smirks walking over to Kamilah placing the dress next to her. Looking at her face with a playful smile Rex stairs at her "What's wrong with that?" with a straight face not blinking once, Kamilah tilts her head to the side with a small sigh. "When it comes to you uncle Rex, everything" with a hearty laugh Rex shakes his head "you know other than your mom your the only person that, that doesn't work on". Smirking Kamilah gets up from her bed and heads to her closet to pick out a pair of shoes "well I am half of my father you know, or did you forget". "Your sarcasm is just like his, it's disgusting" choosing her black heel pumps Kamilah laughs "its repulsive" "yeah yeah, what ever scholar, get dressed". Leaving her room Rex makes more pervy comments, pushing him out of her room she closes her door "bye bye Rex" "we'll be down stairs". Sighing Kamilah looks at her outfit shaking her head "god I really don't wanna go anywhere but, dad said they'll protect me". Not feeling all that good about going outside today, even if it's for a celebration Kamilah just has a bad feeling and those bad feelings are never wrong.

Kamilah has what people call a six sense, she can always tell when something wrong was going to happen. Being home schooled Kamilah was always in the Hotels her father opened, not ever leaving not even when things happened. At the age of eight Kamilah cried to her mother not wanting her to go to work, Athena couldn't understand what was wrong with her baby. "My sweet baby, what is wrong?" "something bad is gonna happen to mama, don't go!" Malik looked at the scene in front of him. It took a whole hour for Athena to put Kamilah to sleep "is she ok love?" "for now, I told Ace to call me when she wakes up he's off today so he said he'd stay with her". Nodding Athena and Malik leave the penthouse for work, "Just in case , you never know children do feel things we don't be careful today ok answer you phone at all times understood?". "Malik don't worry" cutting her off with a stern face Malik pins Athena to the wall of the elevator "there are only two words I wanna hear from your mouth right now. Blushing ear to ear Athena looks into her husband's eyes and utters the words "yes sir" caressing here cheek Malik's thumb traces her lower lip. "Good girl" stepping back Malik fixes his blazer "just do what I say if not for me for Kamilah, iv'e never seen her like that she's usually so quiet". Standing up straight Athena fixes her uniform "I'll be Ok and so will she". Later that day some crazy  drunken man walked into the hotel looking for Malik, claiming he slept with his girlfriend forgetting that Malik was a husband, a faithful one at that. Throughout all the crazy ranting, the drunk man was able to get a hold on Athena holding her hostage until he got Malik holding a knife to her neck cutting her in the process. After that day Athena always listened to her sweet girl whenever she said she felt something off "maybe if I tell mother how I'm feeling she won't make me go". Stopping herself in her tracks Kamilah thinks about it again and decides to keep her mouth shut "no, mother looked so happy I'm not gonna do that to her". Finally all dressed Kamilah leaves her room exiting the pent meeting up with her family in the penthouse lounge, smiling she notices everyone but her father and Ace "you all look stunning, especially you mother". Walking over to her mother, Athena kisses her forehead "um where are father and uncle Ace?" "they went to get the car and check in with security". Nodding her head Jon Luke stands up "are we ready to go, everything set they said we can come down when you're ready". Taking a deep breath Kamilah nods ready to go and celebrate, heading to the elevator Athena pats her on the back "don't worry mi amore everything will be fine, and we're gonna have so much fun". Kamilah smiles at her mother believing her every word "well then I can't wait for the celebration to begin", traveling in the elevator Athena sense Kamilah was a little off. "How are you feeling about going out my love?" knowing what she meant Kamilah decided to lie, something she's never done to her parents. "I feel like today is a good day, even though I myself don't want to step out there i feel like today is a ok" happy and satisfied with her answer Athena gave her sixteen year old a big hug. "Thats great!, I'm telling you today is gonna be great" finally getting to the lower level, the doors open "well my little princess are you ready?" smiling at her father Kamilah nods her head yes. Seeing all the guards Kamilah shyly waves at them all, each guard bows his head when she passes showing a small smile on each face "uncle Ace don't you think this is too much?". Ace chuckles looking at his niece "to make sure you and your mother are safe nothing is too much" with furrowed brows Kamilah looks at him like he's crazy. Kamilah knows that Ace owns a security business just for her, but a few guards would have been ok, not damn near fifty. Looking around the garage she shakes her head "but I count at least fifty?" getting in the limo Ty laughs "we're famous, and so are you little bug you need this much protection".
