Another cycle

"here you go ma'am" the waiter said pulling me out of an unintended trance as she place a plate of perfectly grilled steak and beautifully buttered mashed potatoes

"oh.....yeah thank u so much" I said putting my phone far away from me and get right to the dish in front of me, I ate the food like it was my last day on earth not anyone's definition of lady like, but to be quite frank I didn't care, I was to busy to notice a familiar figure sitting in front of me

"ok so do u want to murder your phone or the food" the voice said as I looked up in shock to meet with the same emerald green eyes from this morning, it was the hotel service boy that was undeniably handsome

"excuse me?!"I said rather embarrassed and slightly offended

"I didn't mean any harm, just that I remember u from earlier this morning and thought I just drop by and say hi" he said innocently

"and that's how u say hi to people" I said wiping my mouth with a napkin

"actually most times yes, but I'm guessing u think its unprofessional" he said

"that's the word" I chuckled

"well I apologize madame" he said jokingly as I smiled a little

"It's Arya" I said smiling at him

"Well its been a pleasure meeting the first two times, Arya" he said smiling as I rolled my eyes remembering what had happened earlier "The name's Arthur" he said

"cute name" I said casually

"so what brings you here Arya" he said

"I'm here until I start college" I said with a faint smile

"oh cool what college?" he asked

"UCLA" I said cheerfully as he nodded

"Arthur!, no flirting with the customers" the girl behind the counter yelled

"I was not!" he yelled standing to his feet as I giggled "anyways, sorry about that" he said

"no problem" I said softly

"well see you around Arya" he said smiling softly before walking away, as I stared at him awe, he was too good to be true I'm probably dreaming, how could someone be so good looking and so charming as well, now that's a boy with a hot mum I can just feel it. I snapped out of my trance and hurriedly finished up my food, so I could get on with the rest of my day. I walked back to my room and changed into something more pool-like while I got a call from my mum, a part of me didn't want to answer the call but another part felt like I had.

"hey mum...." I said nervously

"hello Arya" she said sarcastically "you couldn't at least to let me know u have landed huh?" she said

"sorry mum I got carried away and it skipped my mind" I explained

"ofcourse it did" she scoffed "anyways how are u holding up?" she asked

"I'm good mum" I said blankly

"alright then, just checking on you" she said sweetly "make sure to call me everyday ok?" she said

"yes mum I will" I said missing my mum a little bit ofcourse she was one of the reasons I decided to study far from home but I still loved her and she always showed me she cared in the weirdest ways possible.

"alright bye Arya, love you!" she said hanging up

"love you too.." but I was already cut off, I stared at my phone and smiled a little I was glad I picked up the phone, I didn't realize I needed a little motherly love. I walked out of my suite and headed over to the pool, it was full of people dancing, having water-fights and just looking so happy and I wondered if I could ever be that happy again. I walked over to one of the lounge chairs that was under an umbrella I took my magazine and laid down to relax.

I walked back into my suite to get some work done I changed into some more comfy clothes and cuddled up in my bed and opened my emails and replied to the ones where necessary until I fell asleep.

My first full day in L.A and it already felt like another cycle.
