He is hers and she is his were the words Jessie thought about as she was washing the grease and oil from her hands. Her day was done, and it was time to head out. Home, maybe? The days were longer now, and she enjoy time on her bike. There was nothing better than to feel the wind against her face as she shifted gears. Grabbing her bag and helmet from her locker, she made her way to the parking lot.

Dream is waiting by her bike as she walked out of the hanger. Even though there was a distance between them, he could see the smile that spread across her face when she noticed him. He was wearing a grin as her steps grew closer.

"I didn't think I would see you out here in the mortal world." Jessie hinted, now standing in front of him.

"We adventure out, seeing the world as mortals do." Dream shared, his hands automatically finding her waist.

"I would hug you, but I am a mess right now." Fighting the urge to wrap her arms around his neck and pull him close. Dream looked down at her coveralls; there were spills of oil and smudges of dirt everywhere. His hands stayed on her waist. "That engine was a mess. Looking at a total rebuild to get it back in the air. Th owner was not happy. Apparently, it was his late father, and it was sitting in a barn for a time." Jessie continued on.

"Will he pay you for the work?" Dream asked. He was curious about the inner working of her job.

"Nah, he wants to scrap it. The paperwork is already being process and we will use any usable parts for other planes. Sad though, it was a good-looking plane." Jessie sighed, fishing out her keys. She looked at her bike and back to Dream.

"Take a ride with me."

The sun was low in the sky when Jessie and Dream finally rolled into her detach garage. During the ride, they roar out on the open highway and crisscross the backroads. They passed fields of corn and wheat growing tall in the sun. Dream had his arms around Jessie's waist, not caring about the oil and dirt. In fact, he did not have a care in the world. He was living in the moment with Jessie.

Jessie let go of the handlebar occasionally to feel for Dream to ensure he was still there. He had his arms wrapped loosely to not crush her that at times she could not feel him behind her. Finding his thigh every time, she would give it a light squeeze.

"That was my first motorcycle ride." Dream blurted, climbing off the back on the bike.

Jessie smile, taking off her helmet. "I'm glad that it was with me. Next time, we will need to get you a helmet."

"I leave mine in the dreaming now." Dream fumed, looking away. There was a touch of anger in his words, not towards Jessie. He was standing close to the bike that she reached out and caught his hand. Dream looked back at her. Their fingers were lacing together. She pulled his hand to her and kissed his knuckles.

"I have extra helmet in the house." The smile she gave him melted the angry from him.

Entering the house, she made her way to the bedroom for fresh clothes. Dream went to the kitchen for the living room was empty. Hearing her barefoot steps, Dream look to her. She took her hair down and brush it out. She was now dressed in sweatpants and t-shirt, both light grays.

"I would like to get to know you, Jessie, better." Dream suggested as she entered the kitchen. Jessie opened the fridge. Pulling out two beers and a bottle opener from the drawer, she opened the beers and handed one to him.

"To the porch swing."
