"Hyung!" was the first thing Namjoon exclaimed as he burst through the door of the coffee shop Yoongi ran, out of breath from the solid 45 minutes of dashing around Seoul it had taken him to realize that if anyone would know what to do right now, it would be Yoongi. Nearly all of the few dozen customers turned towards him, some concerned, some confused, most simply some form of irritated, but Namjoon was too desperate for help to care about that.

He nearly shoved his way through the narrow bit of empty space between the horde of people to get to the side of the front counter. The shop was packed today – Yoongi wasn't exactly a Halloween enthusiast either, but on the last few days of October each year he sold themed baked goods and coffee as a little celebration, a tradition he had for a few other holidays like Chuseok as well. Every single time people flocked there, because if there was one thing Yoongi always did well, it was make a good coffee.

Unfortunately, he would have to interrupt that today.

Still mostly focused on preparing the drink he was holding, Yoongi turned a bit of his attention towards Namjoon with a sigh. "What is it, Joon-ah? I'm pretty busy right now," he said, voice brusque and head pointed vaguely in Namjoon's direction.

"I'm sorry, hyung, I know, but this is important," Namjoon stressed, hands clenching on the side of the counter.

"Can it wait a moment? I'll have less customers soon enough,"

"Please, I need your help now, Yoongi-hyung. It's- it's Taehyung- he's..."

Yoongi's head snapped up, eyes softening as they met Namjoon's. They both knew Namjoon wasn't the type to pull a joke at an inconvenient time, and Namjoon could easily hear the desperation in his own voice. He bit his lip for a moment, conflicted, before turning to one of the employees he had recently hired to help out with the growing popularity of the place. "I'll be in the back for a few minutes or so. Could you take these orders for me?"

The moment the employee, a lanky boy who looked like he was hardly out of high school, nodded, Yoongi rushed out from behind the counter and led Namjoon into the break room in the back. This was where he went after closing each day, or if there was enough of a lull in customers for him to actually take a solid break like the room's name implied.

Leaving the door mostly open behind them, Yoongi looked up at him, arms crossed but expression concerned. "What's going on, Namjoon? Taehyung...I know you've had issues with his death. But I'm really not sure how to help with this sort of thing-"

"Hyung, that's not it. It's not the fact that he died. I'm okay with that now, I've come to terms with it. Mostly," Namjoon paused for a moment.

Yoongi, Taehyung, and him - the three of them had all been friends throughout middle and high school, all close to each other, but Taehyung had always been Namjoon's best friend. They had known each other since they were children, and naturally they had more time to bond. After Taehyung had died, Yoongi and him had grown even closer as a result. To stick together to cope with it, he supposed.

"Taehyung, he's back, hyung. He's after me. That's the problem. He's come back and he wants me to die with him!" he yelled frantically, and now he could hear a few murmurs from a couple other people in the store.

Yoongi's eyes were wide as he stared at him, before he narrowed them, a frown overtaking his features, nose scrunching up. Namjoon knew that look. Yoongi was aware Namjoon was being genuine, that he was telling what he thought was the truth.

The problem was that he thought Namjoon had lost his mind. And really, if he was in Yoongi's place, he'd think the same thing.

"Hyung, it sounds insane, I know. It feels insane. But I swear, I'm serious,"
