'I used to think maybe you loved me now baby I'm sure
And I just can't wait till the day when you knock on my door
Now everytime I go for the mailbox, gotta hold myself down
'Cause I just can't wait till you write me you're coming around'

You were so invested in the song while you waited for the pep rally to start, you didn't even hear Nancy calling you.

"Dana!" She exclaimed as she tapped your shoulder.

"What?" You paused the song and pulled your headphones down.

"I said, are you excited?"

"Oh, yeah. I haven't seen Jon since Christmas."

"You haven't had sex since Christmas?" Mai asked.

"That's not what I said."

"Is it true?"

"Yeah. So what?"

"So, that's depressing. You need to get laid."

"Believe me, I know."

"I hope you have fun over there." Robin smiled.

"Thanks, Rob."

"Oh, it's starting!"

As the band played, and cheerleaders danced, Lucas and the rest of the basketball team ran into the gym. The crowed cheered as Jason grabbed the microphone.

"And this is where I zone out." You sighed as you put your headphones back on.

"Jason is so aggravating." Nancy complained.

"He looks like he could be Donald Trump's son." Mai laughed.

"Totally." The blonde agreed.

"Chrissy Cunningham is way too hot for him."

"Ladies." Mrs. O'Donnell said. "Quiet down."

You all stopped your conversation and somewhat payed attention to Jason's speech.

You were in the newspaper room with Nancy as she worked on the cover for tonight's story. You liked to spend your free period bothering her while she worked. She insisted that she didn't mind, and that she enjoyed having you around to talk to.

"So, what did Jonathan say when you told him about S.A.I.C?" Nancy asked as she edit the newspaper cover. "Did he totally freak out?"

"I haven't told him."

"Why not?"

"I'm probably not gonna go anyway."

"So, let me get this straight. You got scholarship to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, but you aren't sure if you wanna do it?"

"Exactly."

"Why?"

"I'm waiting to see if he gets accepted. If he does, great! If he doesn't, that's okay too. I don't need to go."

"But you're so good at art. This is a great opportunity."

"I know. But, college has never been that important to me. I'd be fine living in a van and seeing the country with Jon for the rest of my life."
